After realizing I was named after fecal matter...I too would do something drastic.
Writing and following this story must have been cathartic seeing as how you were on the same trajectory. Giving up one beater and then buying two more isn’t the best approach but...progress, not perfection!
I remember Porsche did something like this back in the late 90's. I have been trying my damnedest to find what model and year they did it on and I am failing. BUT I do remember watching an episode of Discovery Channel’s “Next Step” where they showed a 911 with cameras in place of the mirrors which fed back to three…
The Esperante GTR-1 and the Delta Wing are two of my favorite cars. They pushed the boundaries of conventional design and showed that sometimes, reinventing the wheel is worth it. Also...the Esperante is responsible for the only COTD from the past that I remember.
Back in the 80's Utah DOT has a stop littering campaign called “Don’t Waste Utah.” The star of the show IMO was a rusted out ‘69 Chevelle Mad Maxed out. I LOVED this car...and still do. There is something about that rusty look. However my story lends credence to Davids argument...just buy a rusted out crapcan.
Favorite part is when the Yukon just rolls on past. FTW!
Pretty cool idea and I remember reading about these types of sails a few years ago.
I would recommend a Chevy something something but “MAHK: from Boston makes some good points
Well now we know why Jake had to use the sunroof.
Not gonna lie, you were the primary reason I read COTD...the pictures and the puns made me laugh. As you can tell from the endless comments, your work here has touched many.
I can’t believe you don’t think this is the greatest M3 ever.
You’re making me want to bust out the ole Lobo 3 from Sears
Gotta listen to the right music when using the combine
Why are you even looking at this thing when it clearly doesn’t have the correct shift knob?
That thing must have screamed...
I learned how to ride on my dad's 1973 Suzuki TS 185. That engine noise is music to my ears
I am 100% with you, these things were amazing! I especially love that they didn’t just go to the GM parts bin for everything (headlights and tail lights at least). I would have to call you out on the black though. The pearl white was the icon of this generation Escalade.
Colorado native here...you can’t spit without hitting a Subaru in the greater Denver area. I am not one to follow trends and I absolutely hate the fact that Colorado/Denver is the hot place to live but if you’re going to be here, it really does make sense to own one. They are very versatile and when it does decide to…
“No offense, olds.”
