Any time we had to fill a tire on a two piece rim with a snap ring I would tense way up watching that ring expand with the tire pressure. I am so glad that they have mostly gone the way of the dodo. Tire explosions are frightening.

I have actually seen a civilian Hummer “H1” with rear wheel steering. I am guessing that is the exception and not the norm. Would be at the grocery store across from my high school when we would go to lunch. This was back in 97/98...things were better back then.
