Maybe it is just an illusion but it looks like the wheels are parallel to the runway while the plane is flying into the crosswind? If so, I did not know that planes did this...makes sense if they do. Fancy!

I remember the '96 summer games, the bikes that were used for the arena were ridiculously over engineered and super expensive and supposed to bring gold medals to every racer that rode them...they were miserable failures in every event.
