I dunno, unlike a lot of the other promo material I’ve seen up to this point, this made me more worried, not less. Tank! is still a great song of course, but this intro feels kind of corny. The animation to real life transitions feel... off, and everyone looks like they’re posing for cosplay shots. And that running

It doesn’t work for me. Some of the “shot-for-shot” stuff in Watchmen worked for me, but where is strayed or added was awesome.

Counterpoint: this confirms a lot of our worst fears. Low production values that make it look like a glorified fan-film, and a lack of originality that begs the question “why adapt this if you’re not going to add anything new or interesting to it?”

Seriously, it all feels so slow.

This actually looks horrible compared to the anime version, like a cheesy fanmade thing you’d see on Youtube or something. The timing and animation keyframing in the anime version is incredible and shows some extreme talent from everyone involved. Everything about this live action version is subtly to significantly

I wholeheartedly disagree.

Hrrrrrm, I don’t know. It kind of looks like some fan-made adaptation of the original intro or like a hip-hop video from the 90s or something. Based on this alone, watching the live action adaptation may be a bit too cringe for me.

Call him Landfill.

ding, ding, ding. This is PR, it doesn’t stop or even address the problems.

OK everybody!  We changed the video game cowboy’s name!  Problem solved!  Please resubscribe to WoW?

They should rename him to “High Noon”, so every time his ultimate is used, it’s like he’s saying his name.

And for all that you’ll get ~13 statistical years to enjoy the fruits of 45 years of savings.

This is a depressingly short article.

I agree with all of this. I’ll add the biggest drawback for a Smith Machine, much like ALL machines, is that over time their limitations start reflecting in you. As you overload certain muscles and not others those muscles worked become stronger while other muscles remain weak. Since the body is all connected this can

I love how he sits on the ground like it’s no big deal and then the camera cuts to the pitcher with the more appropriate reaction.

There was a successful flying car test voyage this week, but I saw nothing on here.  Maybe I missed it.

I’ve been on Jalopnik for its complete 15 year existence and this is in the running for the dumbest post I’ve ever seen on here.
