I think we need to be more careful with the word grift and calling someone a grifter. It requires a kind of intent that I don’t think Paltrow has, outside of typical wanting to make money, but that is capitalism. I think framing something as “I find this interesting or think you might, so it’s your choice but here you

I’m not a big fan of Paltrow, but I also have a policy of not bashing charitable giving (unless presented as a percentage of profit which is not transparent and a total joke and often used in the case of item associated with breast cancer awareness “10% of all profits go to blah blah blah” define profits people!).

And with me you get both!

As a tall woman I loathe this whole “boys are tall” conversation. They are not. The average man is the same height as me. Sooooo referring to the short lady tall dude setup as heteronormative might be somewhat accurate as it often occurs in our world naturally, but it means that by default I was the more masculine

I watched an episode of this once and tried to overlook the inaccuracies but could not overlook the free people prom collection wardrobe.

I tried the whole dress to fit in thing by wearing Abercrombie in high school and one day a girl said to me "I like the way you dress, it's so different" and instead of taking it as a compliment I thought what the fuck?

Dark dystopian conspiracy lover me thinks that in fifty years "black friday" will be a sanctioned riot and loot day because over the years that will be what people expect on that day until no one knows any different.

Oh look, native advertising. Only I'm guessing this is more a matter of taking a PR item from McDonalds and writing about it rather than getting properly paid.

",,, sit alone for like three weeks with only your probably-not-Ebola-infected pet, an endless supply of ChexMix and your dwindling Netflix queue for company."

Blurrrrggggg.

If you're serious about this sort of thing you should have a plaster mold made of your face to create a form and do latex sculpting on. It is way easier to build this stuff off of skin rather directly on and the end result is way better.
