Omg, was it Team National?? I used to work for a mobile DJ company back in the day. My usual gigs were karaoke bars, weddings, etc, but one weekend I was scheduled to work a “business conference” according to my boss.

When I was growing up, my family literally had a separate milk (and beer) fridge. We went through it so quickly that my parents would buy 4-5 gallons at a time. It may or may not be related, but anytime my brother and I had a broken bone as children, that shit healed like we were Wolverine.

Yes! I love that blog! He also wrote a really excellent book by the same/a similar name.

I dealt with my flying fears by reading pilot blogs, watching flight videos, and basically absorbing all the aviation related information i could get my hands on. Videos of wing loading tests really helped allay turbulence anxiety... Planes are robust AF! I have a tendency to fixate on things that scare me and I’ve

I remember when I realized what Coward of the County was actually talking about... I was probably 13, and it was a total mindfuck.

Damn! I love her on Raising Hope, and now I love her even more.

I can so relate to this. I can remember many days spent sitting on the floor in front of my mom’s chair while she meticulously combed through my hair literally picking nits. I only knew of him before this because he’s the owner of Runhappy, the horse who won the Breeder’s Cup Sprint last year. He’s one of very few owners who never run their horses on Lasix, so he was already pretty cool in my mind for that reason. This just confirms that he is indeed a badass.

As a (shitty) doctor once told me when I reported a patient’s high blood pressure reading: “He wouldn’t have high blood pressure if you didn’t insist on checking it.”

I had a childhood friend named Augusta who we called Gussie. She was totally sassy. Gussie was cool AF.

This is absolutely true.

Grit, the singing wonder mutt:

I had to leave my “soul dog” Stanley when I left my ex (he technically belonged to him, but we’d had him since he was a puppy). It’s been almost 3 years and still physically hurts to think of him. He was my best buddy.

Oooh, I want that chair! Next time I’m back home, maybe we can hang out (no broken limbs required :) )

I went to school in Cape briefly, and Conservative is...a kind description, lol.
