I would have to put Evangelion on my list. When you view early events with a greater understanding of what the show is actually about, you come to realize how thematically cohesive it is. Almost no line is wasted. It’s pretty incredible.

On the otherhand, I feel like Samurai Champloo is improved with a second watch-through, given that the cast of 3 have a lot more depth, I think, than CBB’s characters.

This screams cut content and lines up with reports earlier in the year. Between the gutting with the pre order bullshit from before and this game was at one point planned to be episodic, then multiple games, this is the result.
