I've been using Net10 for a little over two years and have had no problems whatsoever, even in rural Arizona. I used their relatively inexpensive options for phones until this week when my mom sent me her old iPhone 4s when she upgraded to a Galaxy. Net10 texts to remind you of 7, 3, and 1 day left of service, and

I agree. I think most people that buy them are buying them for the nostalgia, not for what they actually are: simple transportation. I would bet that in 10-15 years, that bubble will burst.

"Okay, let's go over the ground rules. You can't leave first until you chug a beer. Any man scoring has to chug a beer. You have to chug a beer at the top of all odd-numbered innings. Oh, and the fourth inning is the beer inning."

Camaros are for people that never graduated high school.

It wasn't a problem until I was 10, and that no-talent ass clown started winning Grammys.

Greggggggggggggggg is going to have a field day with this one.

As a Bills fan, I'm just happy he didn't pull a Leon Lett.

I drive a stock (unless you consider a trailer hitch a mod) 2011 Wrangler Sport. I bought it used because it was stock, and have no intention of lifting it and adding bigger tires because it is my DD, and stock form is good enough for the off-roading I do.

I'm sure all the players on the '85 team would not tolerate bickering in the locker room.

I had a '93, and loved it. Ran it to 140k, getting high 30's MPG on the highway. I still miss that car.

Not bad for the NFL's oldest running back.

I can't see why anyone spends the money to go to a stadium instead of watching it on TV, save for a playoff or playoff-qualifying game.

Thank you for the reply. I guess I'm just a 'hands-off" kind of person when it comes to regulation, and an even bigger fan of a low-maintenance lifestyle. I like Arizona because there is a plethora of classic cars in excellent condition (although mostly domestic) and the state government isn't trying to bankrupt me

First off, I enjoyed the article.

Here in Northern Arizona, I see tons of senior citizens driving Jeeps (CJ's, YJ's, TJ's, and JK's) . It is one of the few vehicles that appeals to all age brackets, and they're fun as hell (I should know, I have a 2011 JK as my DD).

Arizona 89A - The pre-I-17 (which is pretty scenic in and of itself) north to south highway through Arizona includes these gems between Prescott and Cottonwood / Sedona and Flagstaff. I could drive it 10,000 times and still not get tired of it.

My dad had to do the exact same thing when I was born in 1982. He had a Toyota SR5 pickup and a '77 Toyota Corolla, and he had to sell the pickup because I was kid #2. He ended up buying an '84 Dodge Caravan with a stick on my 2nd birthday.

One thing that people always overlook when it comes to cars for tall people is having to duck to see the traffic light. I test drove a VW Tiguan, and loved the car with the exception of where the roof met the top of the windshield. Ducking to see a traffic light is a deal-breaker for me.

Maybe Consumer Reports should divide the reliability index into Drivetrain and Features sections?
