He does know that 'Superfans' is a skit, not a documentary, right?

I bought my lightly-equipped '11 Wrangler Sport with 13k miles a year and a half old for about 3k off the sticker. The reason I bought used in this case was because none of the seven dealers within 100 miles from home had a new one with what I was looking for (2-door, stick, a/c, soft top, color was negotiable,…
As a Wrangler owner (and a very happy one), it is one of those vehicles that if you are not 100% in to it, it's not for you.
Where's the early and late games' GIF roundup?
Bill Veeck's son Mike, who now owns the Charleston, SC Riverdogs, spoke at my grad school graduation at The Citadel. He gave a very heartfelt and funny speech that basically amounted to "Life is too short not to laugh". When I walked across the stage and received my degree, I pointed to him on the stage and said…
The Jeep Wrangler has the perception of being a miserable vehicle for a road trip, but it is actually very road trip - friendly. I moved from South Carolina to Arizona last January, and I drove this 2500 miles across the country while pulling a U-Haul Trailer. Most of the 'problems' the CJ, YJ, and TJ models had…
When I was shopping for my Jeep Wrangler last December, the problem that I ran into was that all of the dealers within 200 miles of me (Hilton Head, SC) only had Wranglers with at least $3-5,000 in options added on, and I was looking for a base model with A/C only. It took about three months for any dealer to get one…
Garfield In Paradise! I love that special.
The planning of the Apollo 8 mission in 1968 (the first circumlunar flight). Due to the Russians building the largest rocket ever made to that point, and the Lunar Module not being operational in time for their planned flight, the NASA brass put together Apollo 8 with the mission of going to the moon sans Lunar…
I put "Rolling Coal" (which I have only ever actually seen once) in the same category as the people who have aftermarket audio equipment that takes up the entire backseat and/or trunk. That much sound is not for the driver, but so that every other person within a hundred yards knows that one person's taste in music,…
The "convertible" aspect is why I will never buy a hard top for my Jeep. A hard top means no spontaneity (in terms of top up or down today). I even have a tool box in the back that can hold the side and rear windows in case of the sudden decision to go topless.
As a Wrangler owner, this just makes me sad.
The functional purpose of a lift kit is to raise a vehicle's ground clearance to make it a more effective off-road vehicle. Lift kits also enable you to put bigger tires on your vehicle, but they also decrease gas mileage and make the vehicle more top-heavy. People like them for the looks, but they have the…
When I was looking for the Jeep Wrangler I currently (and hopefully for the next decade) drive, I found out that it is virtually impossible to find one without some sort of modification. These range from the functional and necessary all the way to eyesores, but basically every one of them has been changed in some…
Not Unlimited, just a 2-door Sport JK. Most fun vehicle I have ever had (but without much competition). It's amazing how trail-ready these are right out of the showroom.
