This was a great year - Bloodborne, Tales from the Borderlands, and The Witcher 3 were all class acts.

That was all NBC making the show more "accessible." Everything else that didn't involve network meddling was superb. I'd watch The Sopranos though, since superb is just beneath sublime in my estimation.
Why didn't — or better yet, why doesn't — the CW add him to Legends of Tomorrow? It'd be nice to have someone in the cast with some roguish charm.
I suspect this season will play better with marathon viewing, as it is far more subtle/contemplative than season 1. The first season, while fantastic, was all about an intense battle between good and evil (as this review discusses), while this season is about these different chaotic forces all converging into one epic…
I wonder if the writers sit in the dark at night, hands clutched between their knees and shuttering at the thought of what internet message boards will or won't find offensive. Or, to make things even more complicated, what people will find offensive about other people's thoughts on what's offensive.
I think we did to fully invest the audience in Morgan's perspective versus Rick's. We've had five full seasons to learn Rick's rationale, so getting a better appreciation of Morgan's mindset allows the story to have the two clash — or at least their ideas clash — as this season progresses.
No matter the genre, it's awesome. I can see why so many people love this movie!
Hate is so close to love.
Ah, my bad.
I'm' confused about why you weren't that impressed with the premiere, yet gave it an "A," all the while giving this an "A-" and lauding the show. I enjoy your reviews but don't get how you are evaluating them.
That was one of the few I couldn't beat either, yet all the walkthroughs said some other bosses were tougher that I beat no problem. Go figure.
A great year for horror-esque games: Bloodborne (to beat a From Software horse), Until Dawn, The Witcher III's Crookback Bog, Resident Evil Remake HD, and possibly parts of Fallout IV. Now if Capcom can announce a survival horror Resident Evil VII..
I was just exaggerating her being stoned. Wouldn't have made a difference if it were pot or coke when she was crashing her minivan with her kids unbuckled. Things have been tough for her, but parents that put their kids in those situations are the bad guys.
Blasting dynamite might have attracted even more walkers. A bad situation all around.
Since you have the position on top, just start stabbing and shooting every last one of them.
I suspect the kids, other than the oldest, are actually pretty decent. What is scary is that Noah and Helen view them as this monstrous. Maybe next year should have an episode split into four parts, all detailing a brief chunk of each kids perspective on the divorce. I suspect it would shade both parents very…
She's a masochist at this point.
Helen will continue to punish herself because she is trying to find a rational answer for why Noah left, when Noah himself is the embodiment of irrationality. Sure, love isn't rational, but Noah takes the cake for not thinking things through before acting. I'd take a coked out Helen over a sober Noah any day. The sad…
I kind of heart the little boy punching Noah in the face. The boy isn't good at conflict resolution, but stands for something other than being whiny.
As a former sandwich artist, that sadness inspired me to greater goals. Thank you sadness.
