I think there’s something to the effect that a lot of the international players coming from DR/Cuba often have to pay black market brokers fairly excessive fees/percentages to get them to the US. There aren’t a lot of the same inherent protections that people grow up with in the States.

It’s incredible how many haters there are. Even looking beyond the panoply of typical Chicago food (which is heavy, fattening, and delicious), you can eat just about any kind of cuisine for a fraction of the price as NY and with the same level of quality. I live in NYC right now, and worked in Chicago for nearly 10

The entire Giz Media staff has all these weird food ghettoes. I don’t fucking get it. Considering how much pride 90% of them take pride in living in NYC, one of the greatest food cities in the world (Chicago FTW; fight me), I don’t understand how so many of them have their heads buried in the sand.

Best piece of news on a profoundly depressing day.

Hate it hate it hate it. Straight cis white man here, love looking at naked women in many forms. But it A. is just a reason to show tits 9 times out of 10, and B. is way too focused on being “cute” as opposed to “sexy,” which weirds me WAY the fuck out. Too many “girls,” not enough “women”

Your ability to understand what you read is as shitty as your argument.

Yeah, the MARKET. People stopped giving a shit about sports in LA when they have a million other things to distract them.

My dude, not only do I have a job, I can guarantee it pays more than you’re making in your shit little ranch acting like a big boy. Look at your leather daddy Alex Jones quoting absolutely nothing in his unhinged little screeds. It’s cool that you think just because you have an opinion and a mouth that’s only HALF

Your grasp of economics is shaky

The LA market . . . you mean the one that was unable to sustain the original Rams OR the Raiders?

Also, that took me literally five seconds to find. It took me less time to find an article than it took you to say each word out loud before you typed it

How much longer until the Rams can’t make money in LA and start begging the league to let them go elsewhere? Fuck Kroenke forever

Neutral: You mean it’s a bad idea to put a disproportionate share of resources into developing one particular type of product, whose sales are high due to an unlikely confluence of events that is difficult to sustain and harder to replicate? Next you’ll be telling me water’s wet.

Thank you for this sentence: “I’ll still pay to see this but I doubt it will be as good as Tokyo Drift”

Not only do I have a job, I feel pretty safe in saying it’s more than you make. I’m going to be FINE in a Trump Presidency; that doesn’t mean I don’t get offended by the shit he’s trying to pull already.

Oh word, Dr Venkman. I didn’t realize Tracy came to your house, grabbed your mouse, clicked on the article, then pried your eyes open and made you read it.

Lots of retailers sell/give your addresses away to other companies. I’ve ordered a grand total of three items from Huckberry, all from the same brand. And SOMEHOW, I’ve gotten signed up for a zillion other brands’ catalogs. Miracle of miracles, they’re all brands that sell on Huckberry. WHAT ARE THE ODDS

The example that’s freshest on my mind is that he’s giving a tax break to Carrier, who in turn is going to be using a large chunk of that money to automate their workforce. Combine that with agitating for tax breaks for top earners: who do you think is paying for the gap in tax revenue there?
