I discovered Lanesplitter about two days before Patrick made his “we’ll fix motorcycle journalism” post. You’ve made good on his promises in short order. Bravo! Keep it up, but don’t burn yourself out now. The world is short of heroes as it is :)

I know it’s just a drawing, but... is that a triple?

Sounds like this is the RC213V-S done right.

You’ve ridden it?

Given their current direction, and that they have the R1, the new ZX-10R, and now the new Gixxer to compete with, I expect the next Fireblade to be truly awesome.

Don’t apologise, you give us so much already. (Yes, you get to ride new Ducatis around Italy, but that’s so you can give us even more!)

Honda’s been asleep for a long time, but they’re really starting to stir in a big way. First the Grom, then the new Africa Twin, then restyling the street range so they’re not Beige any more, and now these concepts. Great job, Honda! The CB650 always had a lot of potential going to waste.

Now playing

I realise I’m a bit late, but there’s a video now:

I’m going to be an optimist for once. I say everyone’s going to get the nice indicators, the ugly ones are from earlier in development.

Is it just me, or do those panniers look both rather small and rather wide?

...this thing is just waaaaay too big.

Never mind, just read the XSR900 piece and saw it was in Hollywood.

Wait a minute...

God damn it, KTM! I’ve not long managed to stop absolutely lusting after the 690, and then you just have to go and fix everything I thought was wrong with it!

Can’t see them making a sportbike around this engine. I can see them building one (an RC4?) around the future ~500 or 800cc V-twin they’re supposedly working on.

It makes me incredibly sad that the RC8 is going away.

It’s a small price to pay for not getting the shotgun exhausts on the Pani 959.

Don’t have time to find the link right now, but it was an R1200GS. Someone linked it in the article for short riders a couple of months ago.
