Is there not enough a-whooping and a-hollering every goddamn time the guest says a noun? (Yes I’m taking about you, US late-night talk show audiences.)
Romesh is an utter delight in all that he does.
I’m on my third rewatch of the show (I found a Google Drive with all the eps) and it is so good. I’m glad they stopped censoring it on YouTube mid-Season 4. It was a weird choice.
There are full episodes of 8 out of 10 Cats DC on YouTube. A lot of them. And pretty much all of WILTY is on YouTube or Amazon. No luck on the third one though.
James Acaster refusing to acknowledge Alex throughout the show is one of the greatest recurring gags ever.
Season 5 was a joy. Everything you mentioned and, of course, Nish and Mark’s amazing song for Rosalind. Genuinely such a good song.
Not to say that his performance isn’t necessarily cringey, because that’s what the show is all about, but he’s almost certainly the least cringey part of it. Does he remind you of an old principal or something?
The moment I saw the article I hoped that part of it would be celebrating Bob so it’s a shame he went unmentioned, but you’re absolutely right, series 5 for me is easily the best for me because of his input, and it also had the added bonus of Sally Phillips turning out to be an absurdist delight when it came to many…
Every thing with Bob Mortimer is absolutely golden.

Every episode with Bob Mortimer is absolutely golden.
As a GPU subscriber with an issued Xbox One X I am constantly surprised by the massive deal the whole service is. Microsoft has slammed it out of the park with rolling everything in to a 30/month entertainment package. Adding the ability to upgrade to series X after release is just icing on the cake.
They got me in the…
Alternatively, if your Gold is about to expire (assuming you just bought a month or whatever so you could play PSO2), just do what I did: buy three years of Gold (which is the maximum amount of time you can bank for Xbox Gold; it’s quite a bit of cash up front but I knew I’d be keeping my membership active for three…
and Digital Foundry is saying the complete opposite because unlike the Xbox’s GPU, the PS5 uses a variable clock speed and realistically won’t be spending all of it’s time at max speed, meaning that it’ll often have less than the 10 they’re stating it has.
So at what point are we going to admit to ourselves that this ain’t making holiday launch?
Glad to know that power won’t matter next gen.
I’m keeping this short. Thank you for your thoughtful response.
I never said “savage” was never a slur. However, I am of the strong opinion it is no longer. You’re much more likely to hear it used to describe an action or feeling online these days, and probably not at all in everyday life.
I won’t claim to be Native…
As someone all for trying to put more thought into the language used and it’s appropriateness going forward, I’ll ultimately have to admit this fell short of convincing.
Man, I certainly appreciate that there are other perspectives out there than my own, but as someone who likes to think they’re incredibly sympathetic (empathetic when I can be), shit like this drives me absolutely nuts.
