“....but I DD a 996 right now, so take that for what it’s worth.”

Don’t Porsh your luck.

Even with a clean PPI this is a hard CP. these things were garbage when new. Considering they couldn’t be bothered to replace a bulb for their craigslist ad, I’m wondering what other deferred maintenance there is.

I mean, I can think of worse ways to die than crashing in this thing. NP

If by “alternative” you mean “terrible” and “uniformed”, you’d be correct!

I really liked these cars. They looked amazing. I realize I’m not chic enough to own one. I’m a jeans and t-shirt guy. My whole outfit cost ~$50 (including the shoes.) This Fisker belongs in the hands of a stylish owner, someone who’d spend $50 on a t-shirt. A fool with money. That’s the buyer for this car.

On *what* track?  On any track with turns, the 370Z says bye bye to the G8.  On a 1/4 mile track, they’re actually very closely matched.  They’re both in the 13's, stock for stock.  Which is almost laughably slow on both fronts.  At least I didn’t buy my car with the delusion that it’s fast in a straight line.

What does that picture of a dark shadowy cave have to do with anything?

When I think of a CTS-V or CT6-V, the words stigma does not come to mind.

He has a sign that reads, “Man Cave” and that almost trumps having a Harley

Lol seriously, can you imagine having money for actual nice cars, that drive fast and handle and look great, but you limit yourself to GM dog shit only?  LMAOO.  Boomer indeed.

The entire market had lowered the bar. If you wanted a RWD performance sedan that wasn’t a Cadillac or German/Japanese luxury car, what choice did you have?

When you said “G8 GT”, I imagined it parked in a car port next to a trailer home.

I can’t help but think that the only reason these got enthusiasts attention at all is because GM spent so long lowering the bar.

Just because it’s an old Ferrari doesn’t mean its going to be a valuable Ferrari. You can buy 45 year old 308GT4's all day for $60,000.00. There are certain models that are destined to skyrocket in price. Manual F355's, Manual F360's and manual F430's, for instance, with the last one destined to see the sort of price

Or if you want a 2+2 you can get a Hellcat for 60k too.

LOL, that car will be worth $600K when my MR2 is worth $600K: Monday, January 23rd in the year of our Lord two thousands and never.

Obligatory mention that $60k buys you a new mid engine Corvette.
