Good point. While a Bond movie starring a black man could be successful, a Bond movie starring a cookie-cutter white guy will be successful. They won’t take that risk. Black Panther has certainly challenged those ideas, though.

You may have a point. I don’t think he looks too old but I can see how that could change in a few years, too. There are lots of other people who could play Bond. I haven’t seen Black Panther for a couple of reasons. One, I only see about one or two movies a year at a theater because I don’t have anyone to watch my kids. Two, I’ve never liked superhero movies.
