215-hp is gonna feel great in that thing. Should be almost as quick as that new Accord Becky in accounting just bought.

I bought a Model 3 earlier this year and I have to say... I’ve totally drunk the proverbial Kool-Aid with Tesla vehicles.
I’ve driven a model 3 dual motor, and very little can compete with the acceleration. Instant torque that just keeps pulling, and pulling, without gears and boost building.
I haven’t driven an electric car myself, but riding as a passenger in my colleague’s Tesla was easily the most fun I’ve ever had in a car.
I traded in a 2016 Chevy SS Sedan with a manual and keep a 2007 Solstice GXP in the garage so we have similar tastes.
Because the IIHS purchases the cars at random to avoid getting a ringer.
I know, will nobody think of those batteries?! They explode 15000% of the time and they cause impotence as well! /s
Can confirm that the headlights rock. I was pleasantly surprised because I loved my old HIDs but the model 3 LEDs are way better.
It has to be a completely normal, consumer ready car.
Because they test standard production models. Also, probably a bigger PITA (read: more expensive) to create a special process that circumvents painting/finishing than it costs to just paint them.
..... but it will catch fire immediately like all Teslas!!! Hurrduurrrrrrr
The Laguna car is a test mule for a 3 motor “Plaid” drivetrain. Tesla was clear in stating that when they showed the record run. It’s not their fault you can’t read.
This is all rumor, but according to “Bridge to Gantry”, which is a well respected source on all things Nurburgring, the car is an absolute ringer. It’s not “production” and frankly, I’m guessing they pulled the same bullshit with their Laguna time (Car wasn’t stock - Note the model 3 steering wheel). While I hate this…
P100D Turbo is my preference
If you read the article by Robb (who knows the ‘Ring better than most people currently alive on this planet) it wasn’t “Tesla can’t do this,” it was “Tesla should take time and do this right because the track is on another level.”
For the price of the Taycan vs Tesla, a sane person would.
Love or hate Tesla/Elon Musk, I find this To be highly entertaining and love every minute of this electric pissing contest.
Professional racing drivers crash, too.
Holy shit! I’m almost 100 percent sure I saw this car on Mulholland last night, right around that time!
