that particular wiper assembly is incredibly expensive and involved to replace and to install - i assume that when it went bad, it was simpler and more cost-effective to just replace the vehicle around it.

For a few years, I owned 2 cars: a 5 speed Acura and a 6 speed BMW. The Acura was my DD and the BMW sat in the garage 6 days a week.

For $2,400 you’d think they could at least give us a body for the thing. Just a chassis driving around is unsafe.

How many times have you done such a trip? I wouldn’t be surprised if you said zero. But even if you’ve done it once or twice, I highly doubt you only stopped to just fill up your car and that was it. A car that isn’t in a crash costs nothing to repair.

Getting repoed sucks. Back in 2009 I could no longer afford the 2002 Corolla I bought first year out of college. But, I accepted it, let it go, paid off the difference after it got auctioned off, and made things right. It took me 3 years to pay off a car I didn't even own anymore.
