Lena, yup. Like i want to wrap up all my loved ones up in a bunch of people-sized safety-burritos (really soft & nice) and just hang out with them all in a super fun bomb shelter and talk about memories until the world is better but also maybe not even then.

Oh, agreed. I guess I misread that part of the article, mea culpa. If a customer makes a request, and the restaurant says “Yes, we will honor that,” they should actually honor that. If they say they will and they don’t, they are assholes.

I don’t think the federal government should get into the whole issue of bathrooms.

I had a coworker (who was otherwise an excellent server) get fired because he told someone a dish was nut-free when it actually had a cashew spread on it. We were busy, and he forgot, but it was extremely careless. He didn’t even bother to mention the allergy to the kitchen. I saw her get carted off in an ambulance on

Bananas, plantains and avocados, and the sheer number of times some asshole has informed me that “you just don’t like ethnic food” or (the reason I ate for free at On The Border for the entire tenure of the manager that was dating my cousin) “don’t be such a bitchbaby about a little guacamole, it’s not that

Right?!?? When you cuddle you can feel the penis or am I cuddling too Rated R? Idk sound sketch.

Wait.

You could add, “so don’t make a project out of her because at some point it’s going to stop being cute and become harassment.”

That’s what the blog’s going to be. They’ll save the gratuitously sexual photos of underage-looking women for the ads and make the blog out of the self-righteous verbal diarrhea of the guy who rationalizes the ads.

This should work, “this won’t work because the waitress is monogamous and currently in a committed relationship.” :-)

They’re talking bullshit. My company designed their advertising campaign; it has precisely jack shit to do with promoting personal beliefs. And I’ve never felt as slimed as when I worked with these people, and I’ve worked with some of the most reprehensible people in Congress and MRAs.

Buttercup should sue for defamation of character. Sloths are better than American Apparel. As for the company focusing on bullying and LGTBQ rights- too little too late and nice try. They have already positioned themselves as an industry leader in reinforcing harmful stereotypes of young women. Now they seem shallower

It doesn’t make you feminist or not feminist. They’re just a thing you buy and wear.

I really just love when people use “jurisprudence” in a sentence.

Agreed. I hate it when celebrities do this. I don't say I was shy and dorky to seem modest and relatable. It was actually a big source of pain for me and I still sometimes have to fight back against the insecurities that became a reflex when I was a kid. I wish people wouldn't coopt other people's pain.

Eh. I think this is just a thing famous people do anymore. “I was a geek, a loner, shy,” etc. etc. to endear themselves to the public. If there had been as many nerds back in my day as those that claim to have been now, I would have had a LOT more friends than I actually did.

I have lost the ability to even.

Hunter Moore only was attacked once.

I think it's the same motive as cat calling. It's just another way for men to put us in our place and make sure we know it's never safe to go outside. We can never just go about our lives in peace. It's about power and misogyny, not sex.

Probably some sort of power trip. He gets off in some way by taking photos and watching as other people degrade the women online. I bet he felt he was appreciated for giving that online group target material for their hate.
