COULD be - but I doubt it - that Infinity War ends with Thanos having obtained all the stones. And having beaten the crap out of our heroes in the process. So for Avengers 4, he has the Gauntlet fully powered and can now wreak havoc and get it on with Death and all that. Except, of course, for our plucky (surviving)…

He is the reason why I watch every week now. Prior to him I just sampled here and there (after cutting my Doctor teeth on Tom Baker). But Capaldi is just fantastic.

But it started before they became mouse meat. Going back to Civil War, it seems like it’s been nothing but gimmicky events.

I grew up on Marvel back in the 60's. Fell out of comics buying for years, but now that I have enough expendable income, I find Marvel comics to be completely uninteresting and the ridiculous events entirely off-putting. And it’s not because I’m a white male and they’re replacing/changing the white male characters.…

I’m not saying he’s mercenary about it or anything, but he is in a certain tier, a certain pay scale. So the producers wouldn’t necessarily think of approaching him.
