How is this not called R2-Darth2?
Chris Carter is to The X Files as George Lucas is to Star Wars.
I was sent by an agency to an IT job as a contractor. The technical questions were a bit out of my field, but I did my best to answer them confidently, assuming they’d get to the meat of what I was there for; SQL, reporting, VB. But they got even further away from what I was expecting, eventually asking about things…
Yes, that and Star Trek.
Clearly, these are threats. Even if they can be... "defended" under freedom of speech, you should still be allowed to report them. We all agree we're not allowed to yell "fire" in a crowded theater, so maybe we can agree that you can't say "rape you" to someone in a chat room?
Trade him an afternoon of WoW for an afternoon of fly fishing. :-)
Kaldricus' response is an excellent way to start. "Be interested in what your kids are interested in" are words to live by.
I prefer the sex-specific search engine, Bada Bing.
Why is the water black?
WHAT DO THESE ATTACH TO? They look too big to be for fingers. The only other thing I can think of would leave out half the population and only requires one. Unless there's a buddy system I'm not aware of.
I think they probably do explain, at least to the directors, if needed. And as a comedian in his own right, Morgan probably had input on script development, especially for his part. So I would expect there was a conversation about it.
I agree with the others who say it was deliberate. The way Tracy yells at "Cosby" seems more raw than his usual crazy rants. But thanks for the excuse to watch a 30 Rock!
It actually is rather thoughtful for someone who, through life circumstance, has apparently never needed to think about this and who is not exactly known for thinking.
How is this fundamentally different from what's happening to the Marvel and DC universes? Seriously, I'm asking. Is it because Star Wars started in the movies? Or that it has so much more... stuff?
It's not so much the dark that's full of horrors as it is the grey areas that are full of them. And with this we are in that very horrible grey area of "But she REALLY wanted it/was asking for it/deserved it".
As with racism, if you have to preface your argument with, "I'm not sexist, but..." then you might be a sexist.
Regardless of the rightness/wrongness of this, it was worth it for "So this is your slaughtering younglings phase?"
"They're gold, but... but they're not... ROUND!"
I'm at work so I have the sound off. Is the Benny Hill theme music playing?
