Obviously. Which was my point.

Maybe “survival” isn’t the right term then... but I still see a lot of cross shopping between the two. My thought is if Toyota only had one of these, let’s say they sell 40k of them. With two of them... they’ll still sell 40k total. I just don’t see the value in it for them. Then again, I don’t run the show, so nobody

Agreed... and yet at the end of the day, I’m willing to bet he’ll get the money. Isn’t that how it always works?

I don’t see it. Toyota moved the LC down market as it just didn’t sell in the US as it was, which I thought was a great plan at first. But now the 4Runner gets updated and they are nearly the same vehicle. Crossovers have sold like mad for a while now, so I get all the options there, but I just don’t see it here. I

It seems like there is going to be a lot of overlap, which makes me really wonder how both will survive.

Probably right on, but where does the Land Cruiser fit if that’s the case?

This is my question. With the LC coming down market, it seems to me the overlap with this 4Runner is massive. The GX will definitely have more luxury to it, but will also be priced accordingly, so that makes sense to me.

I tend to agree. But as I just replied on another person’s post... there is an exceptional amount of stupid in the world, so you never know for sure.

It’s gotta be for the clicks. Then again, there is a lot of stupid, so maybe?

Best thing that can be done is call these dealers out by name (like this article does) and avoid those dealers. Maybe the only thing that can really be done.

This is just wrong. Yes, it does happen where vehicles (especially new models) have issues, but Tesla’s continuing quality concerns are not common.

I’m not sure that did much, they were in trouble already. Although their response to that review certainly didn’t help!

This is what I was scrolling for. I love (but admittedly biased as I own one) Acura’s Apex Blue... but it simply doesn’t get better than BRG.

I’ve always had an interest in these, and would love to own one. However, every time I’ve even kind of looked, the prices are just too much. This example highlights that yet again.

Or, and I’m just spit-balling here, but he could do nothing and berate/insult people that call him on it. Seems like an equally good plan.

You deserve all the stars today.

Yeah, I don’t care how capable this is (and I do think it’s pretty cool honestly), $100k is flat out nuts.

I believe Musk meant that you have to be incredibly high to believe him. (Close enough to flying right)?

It puts you first in line. If it is a hit, you won’t get one in the first year if you don’t put down money now. (I’m not suggesting this is a good or bad idea, just the rationale).

Funny enough, I had a garage full of turbo motors just a few years ago, and now all of them are NA 6's. It wasn’t necessarily on purpose, and I’m a fan of well done turbocharging. What I will say is the NA 6's I have do much better in the real world vs their EPA numbers versus the turbos.
