And let me guess, someone large sits next to her and expects to get some of her “space” because she is small.

I won’t argue your vote, but I don’t believe there is anything “fun” about this... open top is not enough.

I was trying to think of what is the lowest acceptable price these days for a running car in decent looking shape, (I used to think that’s about $1k, but today’s market it’s higher I suspect). Is $2500 the bottom? If so, then I’d go NP.. but I went ND as well. Maybe I’m too harsh on it, but I just see these as a bad

That’s a good point. I agree 20k miles on this would be a bigger flag than 100k. However, I still think “unknown mileage” is just an absolute killer for value. A thorough PPI would be even more crucial for this.

The unknown mileage part also kills value. I’m not spending even $5k on a car where the seller simply shrugs when you ask the mileage.

There is no chance I’m going to argue that this is in fact “special”... but I don’t think $7500 would be out of line if, (and that IF is doing a lot of work here): running (obviously), and the mileage would have to actually be relatively low as well here. The “unknown mileage” part makes this car much more valuable as

You are speaking my language here. I do actually think these were pretty cool cars, and look pretty nice. The Shelby would likely even be pretty fun. However, at no point do I believe they were “good”.

I’ve been in one accident when the airbag went off, didn’t even feel it. (and it happens so fast). However, I have long arms, so even with my arms comfortably bent for easy control, my chest still 16 plus inches back from the airbag cover. My guess is the pretensioner kept me locked in the seat so I barely made it to

See it all the time, people think modifications add value. (Yes I know there are rare examples where they can). In general, mods lower the value of a car, but clearly this isn’t known (or ignored) by a lot of sellers.

I had a Mk6 Golf R for about 5 years, loved it and would have truly enjoyed this gen: But I agree. If it was near perfect (without mods), maybe close to this price. But this seller seems to think modifying the car makes it worth more.

I put a tune on mine and knew full well that it wasn’t adding value to the car when

Audi jumped the shark when they brought about the weird power numbering on the models. A6 40 or A6 45 anyone? (I honestly don’t even know if those are relevant to the A6 right now, nor do I care). It was unnecessary and pointless. Used to be naming made sense (and Audi is nowhere near the worst offender here), but now

I’m not going so far as to say this is “good” or a solid buy. However, what I like about it is if you are going to make a fake or replica-type car, make it silly. Trying to get an MR2 to look like a Lambo is just sad. But make your kid’s power-wheels look like a Dakar rally car... now that’s fun.

Agreed... I really like these cars, but it’s just not worth a lot of money in my opinion. From the point you made, add in the mileage, I just don’t think this is more than $10k. I saw another commenter saying the turbo upgrade is better than original, which I’ll have to take his/her word for it, but either mods don’t

This... more of this. amazing

To be fair with his history, he likely lied about the premium, lied about filling it up (had someone else do it), lied about driving, lied about it being a car, lied about where he lived and lied about where he went. And he likely first stated it was 8 days a week until someone else changed it to 7.

I mean, he’s right it isn’t customer centric. It’s “I want more profit centric”. If you produce the best product (as in the cars), this might work. But I am one of those people that wouldn’t consider a new car without android auto... so I’ll never find out if their cars would be worth it.

Gulf, check. JPS, check. But no Martini? epic fail.

Sure, you could be right. I just think this will work itself out fairly soon “soon is subjective I suppose”. I think in a few years you’ll see more lower end models coming back. Guess we’ll find out... either way I just thought the headline was too much.

Why? Because all corporations are greedy. Sure, they won’t get as big of a return on lower priced vehicles, but if people buy fewer cars, the car makers will chase volume. They have done this at every opportunity in history.. why would it change now?

This is just silly. The volumes will come back on lower end cars. Inventories are going up from latest reports and sure, automakers want to sell high-margin cars, but they will eventually chase volumes like they always do.
