Maybe I’m slow and this is sarcasm... but are you serious? Sure, I know people that can’t drive a manual, but a lot that can and do. (Yes, under 60)

The headlights do not look good, but I have to admit I like the angel eye look on BMWs.  The wheels, spoiler, exhaust tips all look even worse if you ask me.

I am coming to you for my ad copy the next time I’m selling a car!

Definitely!

It has to be better than their CVT.

Others have mentioned this as well, but sellers need to understand that modifying a car LOWERS the value. (Occasionally you might find just the right buyer sure). Dinan does have quality parts, but this thing was made to one (maybe sane) person’s desires. I’d peg the value of this at half of whatever a bone stock E36

I mean, seems like the real fix is just buy the manual, like you should have in the first place!

I went NP on it as these are great cars, so fun to mash the throttle on one... and if it checked out on an inspection, the price isn’t too bad. The mileage is a bit high though, so maybe I’m wrong.

This. The money being (finally) poured into new battery technologies is going to improve batteries (and what they are made from). The question is just when.

Look up prices for an XKR Convertible... this wouldn’t even be a good price.  Also, somehow the Jag might be cheaper to maintain!

I completely agree. I was just harping on the mods (how they just devalue the car), but hadn’t even considered if the owner had just dropped that money into keeping this in top shape. It could have been a gem.

“personalized and complicated”. That is the nicest way to say “dog crap” I’ve ever heard... well done.

I have always liked these... especially the formal name, “Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Spyder”.

However, it appears that every single thing that was done to this car has made it less valuable. (If the engine upgrades were done well, maybe not those, but what are the odds it was done well)? This is a clear No Dice.

I wanted it

It will be more prone to wheelspin, and 99% of the buyers in the target market for this car will never notice.

I really think this will come, but awd will likely dominate the performance scene. There will definitely be some performance variants that will be rwd.

As to this car, the base version being fwd makes sense considering the target audience. You aren’t going to enjoy 210hp in a rwd crossover that weighs 5,000 lbs anyway (

I occasionally see one near me (sedan anyway), and I double take every time. I believe the annual maintenance on one would bankrupt me, but it might be worth it.

I mean, if the car can’t come close to it’s capabilities on anything short of a race track, then yeah, it’s kind of pointless. I’m still glad the exist of course, but it does point to another reason collectors don’t actually drive their cars. Leave the $2M hyper car at home to appreciate and go drive your 911 on the

This is what I guessed you’d come up with. I haven’t driven the type S, but 60 (or so) extra HP just isn’t going to make that huge of a difference in a car this big, at least not enough to spend that much more. The NA V6 is no flame thrower, but smooth and strong enough for SUV duties. If you want something that’s

You can still get the MDX in this color, as long as you get the A spec. Gives you the show without the “go”. Which after this review and what I’ve guess (without driving the type S), is probably the better buy.
