I have a soft spot for these. I never had one, but when I was a teenager I really liked these. Lot of GM stuff in the family, and I just thought they were cool. $7500 is definitely steep for this car, but I clicked an irrational NP.

I do like the looks/specs of this, and the review obviously is very positive. My concern is that every other car maker is cutting back (or completely removing) sedans... so what is the real potential here? Is this just another good car that will disappear in 3 years to be replaced by yet another mediocre crossover?

I could have dropped this in for a number of people, but I haven’t seen anyone mention this aspect: That is, if you are used to a freight train crossing at 25 mph, and now a passenger train comes by at 80 mph, that’s a massive difference. There is a reason there are very few level crossings on high speed lines in

Most of the cars are manuals too... man this is a heck of an auction!

This looks like a great addition to your fleet... and I look forward to your articles on this car!

I just had to jump into this thread. Your post (and most of the responses to it) are more thought out and accurate than the article. Sometimes we all devolve into complaining (or bashing BMWs ridiculous grills), but in this case, the comments were pretty darn good. Nice work people. (And maybe Lawrence will read these

To be fair, most people ARE dufuses, (and that’s the nicest word you or I could possible use).

I agree with your points here. Color (at least the seats) are awful, and definitely want a manual with that v8. However, if it passes a PPI, I think $42k is fair as well and went NP.

Land Cruisers go for pretty much anything a seller asks for these days (and more)... and this will sell for asking. Not going to be me however!

The revving is the fun part... although maybe not with an auto. It’s too bad Acura didn’t make this wagon as good as it could have been.

That’s fair. It’s too bad they didn’t drop the 6-speed in the wagon then, as the sedan was a great car. (The weight wouldn’t have made it fast I suppose, but would have still be enjoyable)

The Outback is a fine, practical suggestion, but the TSX wagon is the way to go.

I think the big difference in how automakers (and other industries) have treated subscriptions to how they want to go is this:

It’s a squinting beaver.

...and you think that “looks great”?

Maybe this isn’t the career for you.

Trash... it’s trash. Again, if you actually freed up space by using buttons, I would at least understand that. But this garbage takes up the same amount of room and only makes things worse.

Ok, I know we all love manuals, but for an auto: An actual shift lever. Now, I don’t mind if the manufacturer puts some buttons on the dash to free up space, but I have a 2019 TLX, and it has buttons where the shifter used to be. It is flat out awful. First, it saves zero space. Second, you have no place to rest your

I could fit #2 here too, and although I think this is a fairly reasonable price here, I have zero interest in this. Then again, I also don’t have a mustache... so maybe that’s the real key.

Not that this isn’t cool... I mean, sure it’s another special lambo. But why all the references to a big v10? Which Huracan doesn’t have a big v10?

What am I missing? In this climate and that truck, I’m shocked they aren’t asking $17k?!?!?  Seriously, low miles (for the age), small truck, with the v6, manual, even the normal box (instead of that useless step-side). This is a slam dunk at 7k.

I was prepared to give this the “well, in today’s market, this might actually be a good deal”. By the time I made it through the full ad though, it just isn’t.
