Learn from Cadillac and Lincoln. Caddy has focused on high performance sedans, yet the only money they make are on crossovers and the Escalade. Lincoln toiled around with changing vehicle names until they decided to spend a ton on making their crossovers much better and actually desirable.
Ok, that I can relate to... a small (but deep) pot hole got me last year... on the highway. By the time I saw it, was too late to swerve. Still ticked about the destroyed tires and 2 rims I lost because of that.
The worst feeling: “What was that I just hit?!?!?”
ok ok... on a serious note: For me, it’s probably been when the temp gauge just kept going up on my truck I had already dropped thousands into... and I thought was “fixed”.
I have no idea what my last gas powered car will be, but my plan is to buy an electric car for my next daily driver. Although, I’m hoping that is still 5+ years away since my daily (Acura TLX) is pretty new. I sure hope I’ll have something else much more exciting than that as my actual last gas powered car anyway!
Maybe if everything was different, it’d be good?
Agreed.
Commenters... we are missing the biggest issue here: We should all be praising how amazing this thing looks and (even though there are some details that are a bit much) we LOVE it!
Seriously, would you rather see more of this or more of the new M3/M4???? We desperately need BMW to see a positive response on this.
Yes and yes.
I’m not a better driver than everyone else, but I know I’m a better driver than most... because I pay attention. That’s it.
I’d like to think my “skills” are great too, but I know there are (likely millions of) people more talented than me.
I wasn’t familiar with this stuff until about 5 years ago when someone gave me a can... now I’ll always have one around.
I know it is missing the ‘M’, but I keep seeing the DeLorean Motor Company logo right in that middle portion. I don’t know if that’s purposely supposed to look like the D and C from DeLorean, or a total accident... but it keeps coming up in my head.
Agreed. Of all the times I’ve taken one of my cars in for unscheduled service in say the past 20 years, only twice have the issues been powertrain related. (Well, ignoring an older car I had, but that was expected).
Used car prices right now probably put this in a NP if that’s the case. Assuming it looks ok through an inspection.
Love to hear this... hope you enjoy the heck out of it!
This is a good pick... if the Golf R long-roof was available in the US, that might tick the box too. (I’d be happy driving a manual forever)
I have a 2019 Acura, and it has the wireless pad.. oh and a perfect spot to set the phone. For me though, I almost never plug it in. I would pay for the added wireless feature in a heartbeat.
Your idea of “works” and mine are completely different.
I wouldn’t take this if I were paid $38. $380? maybe, probably still not.
Evolro
I think it works.
I can’t argue your points, and this thing definitely isn’t worth $23k.
