Not worth $23k, but had to click NP. Why? Because someone mated that SVX mill to a manual, just as Subaru should have done from the start!

I was with you, and would add that the seller actually posted a great looking ad. Good photos, cleaned (maybe even detailed) truck, even gave us photos of the underside. The ad wasn’t even in all caps! Unfortunately, when I saw it wasn’t 4wd, I feel like $7500 is just a little much for this.

I normally don’t complain about formats, as I’ve come to accept that some suck, and some are fine. However, in order to view this (on a computer), I had to scroll down to read each page, then scroll back up to hit the next button. That’s some terrible design.

content: I thought it was good info, glad I read it.

Agreed. Although, I’m not even sure it’s worth $3k, maybe $2k to $2.5k if you ask me. It’s priced like a good condition example, with 100,000 fewer miles.

$2k seems about right for the condition it is in.

Completely agree. Around me, I’ve had excellent experiences at Acura, Audi, and one Mazda dealership, and just awful experiences at a Kia, Volvo and another Mazda. The rest would fall in-between. I would say that I’ve rarely heard good things about a Kia dealership though... as their products have improved, it seems th

I thought the same. Although, in this case it feels like the seller said, “I’m going to price this like it’s someone else’s project” from the start. Big difference to most of the garbage you see.

Yup. They aren’t really my thing, but it seems to me that Wranglers sell for whatever people ask for them.

But it has red brake cali...
but it has extra chro...
but it has a felt lined be...

nevermind, you are right.

The wheels were also a deal killer for me... I did look to see if the stock set came with it. Sure enough, but how much of this price is trying to recoup the ridiculous cost of those 26"ers? Never understood why someone would pay so much to make your truck worse in every way.

Granted, it was a while ago (I have a Mk6), but I went the opposite way you did. I was looking at GTIs and ended up in the R. Still love it, but hard to go wrong either way.

The funny thing is about the only thing I don’t like about my Golf R (2012) is that is has a sunroof!  (The golf roof line is tall enough, so it’s not a head-room issue, I simply never use it, so it’s wasted on me).

Point 2: This is what I would post if you hadn’t already. That car pictured is amazing... and although the WRX is a fine car, it isn’t close to that concept. Pretty sure they did the exact same thing with the previous generation.

I drove a Ford extended van when I was in high school for a job at a hardware store. We used it as a delivery vehicle... looked just like your first image only dark blue and no windows in the back. The most interesting thing about this van was that is was completely empty behind the first row of seats, and the tires

That’s a good point about the age, but just like your next sentence, if you can’t even bother to put mileage in your ad, that’s a red flag.

I went ND because I’d almost never give a Nice Price to an ad without mileage listed and so few details. I think if it’s in really good running shape, no rust and free of blemishes, then maybe it would be worth the $8k, at least to someone. As it sits... No Dice from me as well.

Nice pick, and finding one that is unmolested and good shape means you almost certainly will be overpaying.  But I like it

Or a step further and get a Plymouth Trail Duster.  Saw one near me a while back in good shape (not pristine), but probably the only one I’ve ever seen.

GMC Typhoon... but I already did that.  S2000 that hasn’t been modified maybe?  (might be more rare than the Typhoon).

I think you nailed it here, and their pricing has reflected this position if you ask me.  Not as expensive as say the Germans, but more expensive than volume brands.
