Just added “cockwombles” to my phone’s dictionary.

Were you this upset about the Brewers keeping that little dog they found wandering around their stadium in their clubhouse? And that big “extravaganza” (probably a 3min ceremony before the game starts) was meant to be a fundraiser for St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach. But you’re right, they probably don’t need any of that

I left a similar comment elsewhere...I agree that the Cardinals initial response was dickish, but they wanted to honor the volunteers that saved the cat at the Welcome Home event and wanted to raise money for the shelter at the Rally Cat Apperication Night event in September. The Cards should have kept their mouth

While I don’t agree with the Cards automatic assumption that the cat belongs to them, I would argue that they were trying to do right by the center. According to the Post-Dispatch the “Welcome Home” ceremony was meant to honor the volunteers of St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach that saved the cat after it got away at

Well if you live in KC, you don’t have to go far. The northern part of Downtown will be in the path of totality if I’m not mistaken.

There’s plently of open space around St. Joe. Krug Park, Missouri Western University, and shit loads of vacant lots and parking lots near the downtown area. You can also just cross the river into Kansas...tons of open space around there.

Good luck. With both Metro St. Louis and Metro Kansas City in the path of totality, Missouri is expecting over 1,000,000 additional tourists. In St. Joe one night rentals are approaching $2,000. Our VMB signs on the freeways have been nothing but eclipse warnings for like two weeks. I’m staying home, I can’t imagne

Those of us that live in Missouri are dreading this bullshit. Both Metro St. Louis and Metro Kansas City lie within the path of totality and St. Joseph, Missouri (one hour north of KC) is dead center. One night rentals in St. Joe are already over $2,000 per night. All the VMB signs along our freeways are basically

I haven’t been to LA in some time, but last I heard they have a pretty extensive transit system. Subways, light rails, streetcars, electric buses, etc. Still well behind say New York or Chicago, but those cities were built around mass transit, LA wasn’t. I’d say they’ve done a pretty good job at catching up.

I wouldn’t worry too much about him aging out provided he got the part at some point. Hell, Roger Moore was 58 when he retired from Bond in 1985 after a View to a Kill. And my guess is Idris will age far better than Moore did.

My original comment was just a joke...but Minnesota is better then Kansas, so have it, I guess lol.

What else is there to do? Keep your foot on the gas and clear Kansas as fast as possible lol. I have driven to Denver many times, but I also cover the central and western parts of the state for the company I work for. I spend lots and lots of time out there. I knew that was Kansas as soon as I saw that sign lol.

Anyone who stops on the side of 70 Highway in Kansas to take a picture with a road sign is not to be trusted.

“No one outside Pittsburgh was rooting for them to win another Cup, the third of the Crosby/Malkin/Kunitz/Letang/Fleury core”

St. Louis was/is the exact same way. In 1939 we even had a day called “Black Tuesday” or “the day the sun didn’t shine.” The City was notorious for it’s smog from coal fired plants and other industries. Those days are gone and the region’s air is no longer among the most polluted but remnants remain. Mostly on the

This is so true. This reminded me of an experience I had awhile back in Kansas City. Not quite like this, but similar. I’m a white man and at the time I was going out with a black woman. We were sitting in a bar in KC’s trendy (read: liberal) Country Club Plaza area having a few drinks when I noticed something I

Hahaha, go fuck yourself, presumably old man.

You should probably check out a few grammar lessons.

This whole thing just went right over your head.

In this case there is no need to sell it to taxpayers if there is no vote. And I think they do that on purpose. Cities and Counties certainly haven’t learned any lessons when it comes to public funding for stadiums, but taxpayers seem to be catching onto the scheme. Which is probably why Inglewood, Vegas, Cobb County,
