Yeah, why can't they just go get changed somewhere other than in the room specifically designed and designated for getting changed in? God, they're so entitled.

You resent pro athletes so much, it's kinda hilarious. Is it just the money you get mad at, or is it the fame as well? You seem to have a lot emotionally invested in seeing them degraded.
I know I’m pissing into the wind, but I just have to say (yet again) that Americans (I’m Canuckistanian) have made such a colossal clusterf*ck of tipping waitstaff that it’s more pain than it’s worth.
I do remember that. But I also remember that neither Ben Affleck nor Matt Damon made those accusations of Jennifer Lopez. In these quotes, Matt is never specific about who is responsible for Ben’s inaccurate public image. But Ben Affleck has been explicit about who he blames - the entertainment media.
I suck at explaining things without sounding condescending, so I’ll just say out front that I’m not trying to talk down to you.
No, because a) that sentence doesn’t make sense, and b) that’s not close to what he said.
But that’s not what he’s saying, and he’s pretty clear about that. He’s talking about the relationship between the actor and the audience, and saying that it’s ideal if the audience knows as little as possible about the actor. Which, quite frankly, doesn’t even strike me as controversial.

Rhyming names are always a bad sign.
Yes, because she'll murder him LOL
A big issue for modern masculinity is proving yourself. A huge part of traditional masculinity is being a provider, and picking up the cheque is a convenient symbol for many people (men and women) of his ability to provide.
I thought guys were the only ones trying “just the tip”.
Not pedantic! That’s a pretty important detail.
I always find it mildly amusing that, in photos like this, everybody is in uniform except for the guy actually on the team.
Will they start lining him up standing as a 3-4 linebacker, or can he still be effective out of a 2.9-point stance?
I would say the semantic argument is that the intent is to be aspirational - if you buy our product, your life can be more like this! The effect however is typically dispiriting.
God, people love that defense so much. I was just at a work BBQ with a guy making that argument, and he was so passionate about it. As if he'd spent a lot of time and energy coming to this conclusion. He was so invested in it, it made it much more entertaining when I got to explain just how silly his precious…
