I think they’ve done a good job making parallels to their experiences. Like in the first one, there seemed to be strong connections between battle and childbirth. I listen to “The Guilty Feminist” podcast and the host said (I paraphrase, wildly) The difference between men going to hunt and women surviving childbirth.

Never thought there’d be a Venn diagram of “The Good Place” and “Westworld.”

I know this wouldn’t happen but I really would have liked Grey to answer when reminded of his death threat, “Dude! I was a humiliated sixteen-year-old, of course I got all dramatic! We’re adults now.”

Do people in California really do white parties? That seems problematic at best.

This is why I didn’t make it past the pilot. The female characters never seemed to register as human, just as props to a scene. Maybe I’ll try another episode, but my patience is real short with this type of nonsense these days.

But . . . logically . . . (rubs fists into eyes) . . . *sigh*

Seriously.

It’s anything “buffaloed.” Even ice cream.

Every episode of this show is like watching a trapeze artist . . . are they going to crash this time!?! Nope. Stuck the landing!

I think the writers vastly underestimate how scared a lone woman would be of two angry men with golf clubs.

I would have loved to see “Bodega Boys” on Vice nominated and win. The sheer mental challenge of figuring out what they were saying in between the beeps would be worth it.

Am I alone in seeing strong parallels between Jamie’s battle and Claire’s labor? I thought that it was a really interesting to still connect characters who never share a space. Same with the shot of Claire on one side of the wall as Frank walks away, just like the shots of Claire and Jamie and the stones. I love this
