I think her face is Benjamin Buttoning. Totally weird since her legs are not keeping up.

Obviously I don’t know the specifics of that one, but I can see how that situation could be very ripe for exploitation. I assume the daughter didn’t have assets that would make it tempting? I’ve seen/been involved with conservatorships for adults with downs syndrome, but there’s at least a history and a definitive

No. She can still be sued. The conservatorship would be responsible for her defense (selecting attorneys, paying, etc). She cannot sue anyone else. The conservatorship has that power. I read somewhere that she had recently testified in a lawsuit, not sure how she was involved in it though.

I don’t think she has custody of the kids, just visitation. Safety concerns might get you a temp commitment, not give someone else control of your cash. Whether you agree with what she was spending her money on or not, I haven’t seen anything suggesting she was unable intellectually to handle money. I can totally

Not my area either, but from what I’ve read California is kind of special in this area. I don’t think this conservatorship would have happened under the laws of my state. Sure, she was having some kind of breakdown, but there’s nothing (public, anyway) that would be enough for her to be declared incapacitated. She

I have a law degree and I still can’t wrap my head around how her conservatorship was ever legal.

So much nepotism.

Her Firebird costume was also rather ugly.

Totally picturing Call the Midwife. Tell me you got Trixie.

That would probably make more sense in the Game of Thrones world. It couldn’t be anything ordinary, and Hodor has to mean something.

Head injury? He was supposed to be a stable boy.

I’m okay with this.

Are the Galleria and Brookwood really dying in favor of the Summit, or are people still just flocking to whatever is newest?

I don’t understand why they’re putting them in long sleeve shirts and blazers. In Brazil. In August. It is their winter, but it’s still in the 70s.

This really needs one of those hats you guys make your school kids wear.

Chubbies! Skies out thighs out.

I had a very unfortunate Dorothy Hamill haircut as a pre-teen. The number of people who told me I was going into the wrong restroom is still unbelievable. Once inside, not one person ever said anything. I was always accosted outside the door.

The Right Reverend is a hell of a story. I heard the attorney’s family was suing the Harper Lee estate to try to get back the original trial transcripts.

I got the sense that she shared a plastic surgeon with Michael Jackson.
