I did this with my Autozam with only 63 hp.  When the rear end starts to slide, the instinct is to let off the throttle.  That makes the car snap back and spin out.  It’s very common in mid rear engine cars. Lift off snap oversteer. 

They pointed out the obvious is all they did and labeled it comedy. What is funny is watching the left try so hard just to fail lol.

The modified car is not any less safe than stock form.  This is just the unfortunate risk anyone takes riding in such an old car. 

You missed the point. “Letting someone inexperienced drive a car...” Why is “letting someone” do something more irresponsible than the person who is allowed, who makes a decision, to do said irresponsible thing.  If I do something, it’s my responsibility, not the person who “let” me do something.

How is it “sub-standard”? It had the legally required equipment. By definition, it met the standard.

I’d like to see somebody who ISN’T seriously fucked up after flipping a car with that much power in to a ditch.

Hart’s behavior is not evidence of anything, people act weird after a traumatic accident, as anyone who has been in such an accident would tell you. It’s the shock of it.

I think the original story still stinks (conflicting reports of who was actually driving, Hart appearing intoxicated and being snuck home before going to the hospital) -- but... This is a lousy thing to be sued for. A heavily modified 50-year old muscle car... Enter at your own risk.
