I agree with your assessment...except the throne room fight...having Luke there along with Snoke and having them all battle would have been outstanding...yet what we got was a fight between the 2 main characters and a bunch of faceless "guards"...there was no tension or drama for me because Kylo and Rey weren't going…

But it IS all about the Skywalker bloodline. Hell, Bob Iger even said “it is a fantastic addition to the Skywalker saga” after his first viewing. And after viewing the prequels, everyone already knows that the force isn't just for the Skywalkers.
