Well, it’s set in small town Indiana, Rob Lowe can lean a bit right, and Ron wields a gun in the opening credits. They were prob confused.

They really do think the Gov’t is going to come for them, and that when they do, these quick firing guns will help them stave of, as one guy on twitter put it, potential “genocide”. As if when the US military decides to have themselves a “genocide”, they’ll be fucking around enough to get outwitted and outgunned by…
Aw. Did those mean kids mess up sumbuddy’s President’s Day?
Be sure to tell her the guy in the MAGA hat that just murdered 17 kids said “Thanks for your support”. She sure showed the libs.
Nope. Some of us can blame the person AND THEN question why we can’t try to make it a little harder for that person to get their hands on a device thats sole purpose is to efficiently kill living things.
I was straight up in love with Courteney Cox in the mid 90s. I think most guys were more into Jennifer Aniston (and, yeah, that’s plenty reasonable), but I always loved Courteney.
Are we overthinking it? I’m not sure this movie is trying to ‘fix’ anything so much as it would just be impossible to remake it without swapping genders. There will prob be just as much to object to if viewers are so inclined.
I’ve not seen anything since Basterds, either. Django and Hateful 8 looked good enough, but man... it’s hard to gear up for a near 3 hour movie these days.
Ruh-roh, cue all the ‘non-racist’ racists and their threats to never but Indians gear EVER again.
Utterly worthless if he weren’t so dangerous.
Yeah, I don’t think he’s trying to get away with anything here. No “Due to a prior engagement” or “I’m busy filming in Malta” excuse. He would be a distraction, and we all know why. Only move to make.
The Fall are on the shamefully not-so-short list of bands I’ve always meant to check out but haven’t yet got around to. No idea if Sean O’Neal and I would have anything in common as far as our musical proclivities, but The Fall will be jumping to the front of the line after reading this..
According to Gold Derby, she won for the episode titled “Late”. Haven’t seen the show, so don’t know which one that is.
4 yds ain’t bad on first down.
If you like this one, I’d say they’re worth checking out. They are one of my favorite bands. To me, they write these songs that seem of ‘time and place’ but I don’t seem to grow out of them. Some of their stuff is slower, but they still punch it up frequently. Stuff like The Way You Wear Your Head, High Speed Soul, In…
It won’t change your life, but I always liked it.
They have introduced be to some great acts via their openers. Delta Spirit, Waters, Big Thief, to name a few. His post show acoustic sets were always fantastic. We saw them on the last date of the tour, and he must’ve played another 8 songs.
Big Nada Surf fan. I also recall ‘Happy Kid’ getting some play, and I swear I’ve seen ‘Rushing’ used in TV or film. And they had that Pixies cover in that Samsung commercial a while back.
My choice was actually going to be ‘Hero’ by VP. Catchy little ditty. Standard hyper-colorful video from the era.
One of my favorite Fountains of Wayne facts is that they got nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy in 2003. 7 years after the album with ‘Sink to the Bottom’ was released.
