Yeah--recipes. I think this was about the kind of freestyle, freehand cooking that doesn’t depend on recipes.
I think you can easily estimate how much you and a partner would eat, but kids are more variable (and we aren’t allowed to make them clean their plates any more, as I was brought up to do). The more people, the greater the variability.
I do, too, but my mom taught me how. I wonder how easy this is for folks whose only cooking experience growing up was making Kraft Mac and Cheese?
LOL--I made a giant pan of lasagna once, expecting at least a week’s worth of meals, but my now-husband and his brother were doing some macho informal eating competition thing, and there was only one piece leftover....a giant pan. Three adults.
You can make noodle soup freezable by leaving out the noodles when you freeze it and cooking them as you heat up the soup....

As my weimaraners snore peacefully on the couch, I again wonder about apartment pet rules based on size. Weims are supposed to be high energy, but mine basically need an hour walk a day and then they veg. My German Shepherds were even quieter.
