Yeah, but feet grow...I have gone, gradually, from a 9 1/2 in my teens to an 11.5 in my 50s, though my weight has only increased 25 lbs. --not an easy size to find, but thank you Internet and European/British shoes.

I buy quality stuff on ebay or consignment stores--someone else took the new to used hit. Then when (not if) my weight fluctuates, I consign them back. Nowhere near the financial hit...

You can machine wash almost any sweater (maybe not viscose, but I have even done those) in a lingerie bag in cold water. Reshape to original size flat. Cashmere will be fluffier, but you can iron it flatter if that bothers you.

Photos can be a problem for fair-skinned (and very dark-skinned) people. Fair-skinned people get a lot of flash effect — too much light bouncing off even without a flash ---unless the photographer is very good. Don’t judge your looks from photos.
