Quick question. Is there a way to delete my profile/account here? Or do I just log out and never come back?

It’s the AMG V8. How is that not mentioned anywhere?
Yeah, but literally all my complaints were about the convertible top that he rarely used. It was only good for a few dozen drops.
Close friend in high school got one of these in ~99. Green with tan leather, tan top. It definitely was a cool car even in those days. It was just such a crying shame they were all FWD 6pots, because that shape needed to be RWD with an LT V8. Anyway, CP all day long because I know what actual use does to these cars.…
I, uhhh, think I need this car.
shit yeah. if you’re gonna build something, how else do you test it’s capabilities?
I’d really like to see the data where an E class costs “over $10k more to own” over 5 years. I’ve owned 2 of them and the only maintenance costs were tires and B service (~$1200 at dealer).
valid, but every one of those brands’ car competing with the CTS are an order of magnitude better looking.
when it comes to using anything and everything to humiliate trump, don’t let reality or facts get in your way.
I can relate to you so much right now. I’ve always been both a gamer and a car guy. I have over 3k hours in Destiny alone, and there are oodles of twitch streamers for Destiny with millions of followers. I simply cannot understand how people enjoy watching other people play, especially when the guys are just…
I was given a brand new Honda pushmower when we moved in 2011. It was a return at Lowes. The first buyer, did something that, to this very day confuses me on a level that scares me.
That’s the magic of the old M113 V8 cars; especially the AMG variants. They are completely and utterly indestructible. 307k on my 99 C43 AMG, and my next car will be a black-on-black CLS55 (stock and unmolested).
I had literally just got my car out of the shop after the 55 engine swap, drove it home, stopped to get gas.
Omni, WRX, EVO.
I’ve wanted one ever since.
In this same vein, I’ve always wondered why people didn’t yank Mercedes m104 straight six engines out of junk yards and use them for a turbo platform. They’re legendary for durability and can tolerate gobs and gobs of power in stock form when Turbo bandit manages to hack-n-slash turbo kids in there, but they are truly…
Mercedes W140 S600
Wife’s dad has a big tundra 4 door with that V8 in it. I borrow it to haul stuff and it’s only barely useful.
But the funny part is how he thinks it would “blow the doors” off of my “piece of shit 90's Mercedes.”A 99 C43 AMG with E55 engine swapped.
93 had the m104, 217hp and 229ft lbs. Car weighs about 3500lbs. It’s much peppier than you’d think. R129 500's with the M119 V8 weighed 4100lbs with 306hp and 332ft lbs. They feel really similar.
Wait, did we drop the Hellcat and move straight on to the Demon? Is it because we didn’t see any of those weak, slow, under-powered Hellcats doing it?
Shit, maybe that extra 133 hp is what it needed after all.
Oh you’re planning on repairing them all at the same time?
