The yellow stuff is from Aston Martin’s racing history. They used to paint the grill yellow so they could spot their cars, back when everyone ran their national color in Gran Prix racing.

The picture was taken out at the spot where James Dean died. It’s at the intersection of CA 33 and another state highway that isn’t coming to mind right now.
That thing is uglier than a current Prius, which is going some. It looks like some kind scrapbook of nifty car features that have been put together in some kind of 3d collage. I looked and I couldn’t find one line in that car that makes a lick of sense or adds even the remotest bit of grace and elegance.
I’ve been a motorcycle enthusiast for decades. During that time, I’ve been subscribed to a series of mailing lists dedicated to technical diagnoses of broken motorcycles.
I’m a BMW motorcycle dork and car enthusiast. The motorcycle appears to be a Porsche 4 bolted into a BMW chassis. The instruments and everything are from Munich.
Indeed. The Concours this year was absolutely stunning. Ferrari brought all kinds of cool stuff and my wife and I were kind of losing our minds for a couple hours gawking at them all.
I went there last year while BMW was celebrating their 100th. How about a track full of racing 3.0 CSLs? How about the factory CSLs and just about anything else BMW has raced out there hauling ass? That was pretty epic, but I have to confess that probably the best part of it for me were the guest speakers. They…
I’ve never been to a Whole Foods that didn’t offer up a parking lot experience that made me want to start buying my regular groceries at a 7-11. At the WF locations around here, it’s like the customers all hate cars so they’re really, really lousy drivers.
As a car person, it’s about the car, not the value. Every time I go, I see cars I’ve read about and seen pictures of, but never heard nor been able to take a good in person look at. And I’m nearly 60 years old.
Howdy. We were down there and I thought I’d take a minute to pass along some ideas for those that aren’t stupid rich, which includes me.
Former New Englander here, now living in California since 1999. Taking a look under my 17yo California purchased F150 and not seeing all the bolts growing little crowns made of rust flakes still kind of freaks me out.
I’ve seen you around town in that thing. Wave to my wife in the Karbasa 335d, if you see her. It’ll freak her right out. :)
I hate Toyota Corollas. They’re purchased and driven by people who typically hate driving because they’re reliable and cheap.
It looks like it doesn’t it? There’s a big old dent in the both doors, too.
Is this where I admit that we got rid of my wife’s rattletrap-eats-brake-rotors-like-candy-G35 coupe to buy a BMW 335d?
I’m honored.
Excellent article, beautiful car.
Probably want to avoid smoking a cigar, too.
Similar story here. My dad is 86 and watches Fox News constantly. He used to regularly forward all kinds of nonsense he got via his AOL account, presumably to try and troll me. So I sent him a note and basically told him this:
Did you read the article at all? Because it sure doesn’t seem like it.
