I treat Lego games like I do Pop Vinyls: you can’t buy every single one, you’ll grow beyond sick of them. You have to pick the ones that appeal to you. Hence why I skipped Lego Pirates, Lego Rock Band, Lego Batman, Lego Worlds, and so-on.

Tt Games often do make custom Lego assets! A huge number of characters get their own head and body-print designs in one of the Lego games first, especially obscure characters who’ll never get represented in an actual set.

I think it’s worth mentioning that Insomniac patched Rift Apart, Spider-Man Remastered AND Miles Morales so that they hit even HIGHER frame rates if you use both 120hz and VRR!

So normal automated cars, then?

Yeah. SSX 3 is still a good racer, and you have a lot of flexibility to earn boost with the expanded trick system, but it’s telling that there’s one Race event (Race) and THREE trick events (Slopestyle, Big Air and Superpipe). Oh yeah, that’s a thing too! Courses designed SOLELY for tricks!

Hah, awesome! I’ve been doing this to the original Dragon Ball in the spirit of DBZ Kai. The First Chapters! Coming soon whenever I have free time!

Yeah, the reason is because the PlayStation didn’t launch with analog sticks, so it was easier to keep it on L2/R2.

I think SSX 3 holds up REALLY well graphically, far better than Tricky actually. The way it executed snow and light and so-on was top-tier.

Yeah. I can see the argument for both: I think porting / remastering games forward when b/c doesn’t exist is important, but I also love straight-up remakes like CTR Nitro-Fueled and Spyro Reignited that make the whole thing far more presentable.

I’m not talking about a direct port to let people play an old game on a new system. We’re all used to that, that’s fine.

To be fair the lava was REALLY cool and unlike anything else in the game.

Maybe the plan is to make a game so big that reviewers won’t have time to put out proper reviews at launch thus avoiding 7/10s.

Agreed, although my comment is more in reaction to yesterday’s article regarding Faro’s Tomb which seemed to be a random excursion. I disagree with that take because it compared Faro to the Zeniths in a negative light, and also because it gives him a VERY satisfying comeuppance when in Zero Dawn he got away scot-free.

Considering they cracked the code to living forever, this to me further contextualizes the Faro’s Tomb section: he WISHES he could be these guys, but he’s not. He fucked up infinite life, and pointedly the Zeniths never asked him to come along. That’s how much of a failure he is!

We’re getting into Schrodinger’s Cat scenarios here

I’d also add that it gives Faro a comeuppance for all the shit he did. In Zero Dawn’s isolated context, Faro fucked over the Earth, twice, then laid back in Thebes for a life-long vacation; he was never truly punished for what he did. Forbidden West has him turn into an “I Must Scream” monstrosity due to his own

You didn’t pay attention to the holograms, did you? ;)

To be fair, we DO get an idea of what Faro is at that point thanks to the holograms. Cancerous growth is honestly a pretty apt decription:
