Avoiding Twitter seems like such a no brainer really. Twitter seems to mostly exist to generate drama, misunderstanding, and trolls.

I would expect that game pads could serve as a stopgap or even as all you would need if you don't spend much time dogfighting but for fighting the full joystick and the extra hats and axes give you significantly more control and both games have a lot of things to control at once.
So yeah... good for you?
Flight sticks are all but required really. I can't imagine playing Elite Dangerous without one.
Typically whichever company has their new line of cards out first has the best performance. Neither is clearly king which was my whole point. Go ahead and fanboy though.
My AMD card plays Dragon Age Inquisition with Mantle beautifully.
Having mostly used ATI/AMD cards (with both Voodoo and early Nvidia cards thrown in as well) since the mid 90's I stand by that sentence. The AMD = terrible, bad, horrible drivers thing is just Nvidia fanboy nonsense. Have there been times and specific games with driver issues? Sure. Have there been driver issues with…
I love how both companies produce cards with similar capabilities in similar price points that both have similarly stable drivers and yet the Nvidia people have to beat their chests to defend "their" brand. Nvidia has the larger share of the discrete desktop graphics card market but AMD is in pretty much everything…
Modern cards are beasts for sure.
Except the fact that once upon a time, MANY years ago, SNL was actually funny. I can only assume that modern SNL is intended to help people fall asleep, no way it is actually supposed to be funny.
Ah WoW... I seriously don't miss you at all.
I always love it when people blow up about a game they bought on Steam when they clearly didn't even read the whole description on Steam and obviously never thought to google the game before handing over their money. They just get pissed because the game isn't what they thought it would be based on the name and a…
Some random youtube guy decided he doesn't like Steam anymore... A whole article for that?
It could have been amazing...
Can we get an edit where Peter Jackson was not involved with the project in the first place?
Nothing good ever came from that disaster... Burn in hell GFWL.
That is, unless you can't stand the asymmetrical stick layout.
I do plenty of things outside though catch is certainly not on the list. I have to assume people do enjoy repetitive activities since the evidence is there for it but I don't and having tried watching a variety of sports in person and on tv I can easily say that I can't think of a regular activity that entertains me…
I played fair bit of the original Starcraft back in the day and while it was fun you still have to move on, because holy shit are there way too many games out there to ever dedicate years of your life to any one game. I enjoy mmos but I can't play them exclusively either and even when I play one for years it is still…
I am pretty sure in the very same sentence I also condemned the video game equivalent of sports. So it was less about being a "nerd" and condemning sports as it was about condemning all things painfully repetitive and thus boring. But, you know, go ahead and feel persecuted by nerds for your decision to watch sports…
