I mean, this is basically radfem 101. Men universally perpetrate violence, women universally suffer violence, and these categories are inviolable and absolute. It’s, uh, not really an ideology that holds up to scrutiny

To each their own! I came down here to say that Havana is a horrible song haha
Literally the first-ever use of the term, at least according to Google, was this blog post from March 9, 2023: https://www.disneytouristblog.com/star-wars-galactic-starcruiser-slashes-voyages-but-not-prices-or-anything-else/
Since I am, as I said, in too deep, I went looking for the claim from before the Twitter thread I linked above. It only appears twice, both times on a site called Disney Tourist Blog. The earliest is March 9, 2o23 (date from Google), where the writer heard the satisfaction rating “from multiple people with knowledge…
I bypassed the Wrap paywall, and while they have a lot of details about the survey that went out after Starcruiser closed, their source for the “highest satisfaction” claim is from this Twitter thread...which quotes specific press releases and official webpages for everything except this claim. They say Disney “cited”…
Do you have a source for the “highest guest satisfaction” thing? I tried looking it up after watching the video but all I found were other people saying the same thing with no link to a relevant survey or anything.
The son is presumably also an ice hippo, so probably pretty wide
All hail the new overlords, who didn’t make this a goddamn slideshow!
New X-Men always gave me the vibe that Morrison didn’t really like the X-Men—which is a shame, because he does incredible work with legacy characters that he does like.
I can’t believe the show took pains to recreate Magneto’s worst-ever costume and then didn’t even give us merch of it
Magneto’s costume is, unfortunately, comics-accurate. In the comics he was even wearing normal clothes when captured for trial but then put that hideous thing on to appear before the U.N.
So, uh, how would a communist run a private corporation? Because it kinda sounds like you just don’t know what words mean
“Majors’ lawyer should have told not to do a thing that makes him look worse” has been a running theme in this case, second only to “Majors’ lawyer should not have done a thing that makes him look worse.”
I trawled the Wayback for anyone who hasn’t had the pleasure of reading it: https://web.archive.org/web/20161030112255/https://gawker.com/my-14-hour-search-for-the-end-of-tgi-fridays-endless-ap-1606122925?src=longreads
What’s the right stuff? If I went to a Friday’s I’d want to get get mozzarella sticks in honor of Caity Weaver, but other than that I’d be lost in their apparently giant menu
It’s weird that they have a churro-flavored Coffee Chiller and a c0ffee-flavored Churro Chiller. Those seem like they’re just begging to get mixed up.
My husband is (well, was) one of those people. He saw me pulling out the crumb tray to empty it shortly after we were married and was like “why are you taking the toaster apart?”
What an extremely nothing logo. It looks like a placeholder sites give to users who don’t upload a profile pic.
They combine and you start gushing gradeschool volcano foam from every orifice
Last time Guy got an enormous contract, didn’t Bobby Flay threaten to quit unless Food Network gave him an even bigger one? Hopefully the network won’t make the same mistake of giving in this time. Flay can suck it up and admit that he’s much less of a draw than Guy is, or he can flounce and we’ll be free of him.
