“Let them fly Porters.”

He probably chafed at the cost of or environmental regulations governing the disposal of chemicals used in the zinc plating process. So his thought was to just have them all slowly leak out and he didn’t consider that might be dangerous. Which i find crazy because if you’ve ever spent any time in a zinc plating

I just hope they do the “space scenes” correctly. One of the things that i hated about Firefly (which was essentially Cowboy Bebop) is that they skimped on space and leaned heavily on wagon trains in SoCal with laser blasters. I get that it’s a budget thing, but I really want to see casinos on the moons of Jupiter.

honestly, given all she’s experienced since the original trilogy, they might make a better film if they completely change it up.

He wasn’t passed over because of his tweets. He was passed over because the guy in charge of making the selection wanted the job for himself.

yeah, i saw Empire Strikes Back at about the same age. My wife finds it funny that i can recite most of the movie from memory. But even as a kid and when the prequels came out, i was not “OMG, i’ve waited my whole life for this!” it was just “huh, that looks interesting.” that’s why when the prequels didn’t hold up, i

“i love movies and have strong opinions on what i like” are not qualifications for being a trusted critic, but people on the internet dgaf if you know what youre talking about. they only care that you reinforce their feelings.

I just can’t fathom being this guy. He was two years old when Ghostbusters came out and he’s been waiting his whole life for a sequel? J. F. C.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. well done.

Alfred Molina is a grad-a Actor and seeing him back to chew up some scenery is excellent.

I bet him popping out of his ship and immediately thanking all his customers and employees for making his dream come true would rub a lot of people the wrong way.

Cry harder, loser.

there are already robots in factories doing lots of work and they dont even need legs. bolt them to the ground and away they go!

He’s on NBA TV because no franchise will hire him after his performance with the Knicks (and Pacers). Honestly, smiling and being on TV is his best talent at this point.

I’m a Pistons fan old enough to have watched the Bad Boys and I remember Thomas breaking his hand punching Laimbeer in the back of the head during practice. I also lived in NYC during his tenure running the Knicks and JFC, that was a true shit-show.

Lost In Translation is pretty - and i enjoyed it at the time - but it’s just about a young, pretty white lady who doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life. There are a few stereotypical jokes at the expense of japanese people (they’re short, they can’t pronounce “r” sounds, lolz), but there are also scenes

If Ihad fuck you money, I’d just buy a first gen NSX and spend the balance on escorts who appreciate the taste of a man who would rather have a first gen NSX.

to everybody saying “its hard to do that”, I know! This is not an issue you fix “on the pad” because the mode and severity of the failure if they don’t pull the whole damn thing apart in the garage is pretty fucking grim. You don’t just turn it on and off and hope that it works when the result of possible failure is

Gods and Monsters! He’s a terrific actor.

yeah, it’s a good thing that in the history of american space flight, economic and public relations concerns never took precedence over solving mechanical issues.
