Even in Texas, if someone is hourly, you have to pay them for every hour they work. If they are not working as a server, I think you even have to bump it up to minimum wage. Someone should report them.

I was once telling my mom about my menstrual symptoms when my Dad walked in and asked what we were talking about. I gave him the serious stare and said, "If you ask me again I'll tell you." My Dad being the smart guy he is said, "Never mind," and went about his business.

My daughter's school told everyone they couldn't bring bags in the last week of school last year. (There was a vague bomb threat.) She packed a purse. When confronted by a large, middle age security officer about carrying a bag when she came in, she went loud. "I have a purse because I needed something to carry my

Our kids were born in '99 and I have a picture of each of them in Mr. Moxie's back pockets. (I would have to search

Our engagement was very similar. We were living in a tent traveling with the Renn faires when I got knocked up. I called my parents and they said I was always welcome home and, if we were getting married, I could bring my mister, too. When I told my husband, he sighed and said, "So we're getting married?"

My son probably has Celiac disease. It runs in the family. Our first step was doing blood tests for allergies. His allergy to wheat and gluten was so extreme that we didn't go any farther in testing. Allergies to wheat and Celiac disease involve different types of immune system reactions.

I wore green Chuck Taylors, but I also wore a green, satin, baby doll dress, had a shaved head, and was 5 months pregnant with twins. It was not really a traditional thing.
