Ghost cat stories!
These real life brushes with death are way more scary to me than the supernatural weirdness. I'm glad you and your aunt weren't harmed.
I thought brownies liked to clean your house. If I could find one of those... I would completely ignore it because that's what they like, right?
I blame that stuff on fairies.
Your Dad was a wise man to kill it with fire.
That's nice. It sounds like he approves of you living in his house.
I still need to read the last Tana French book, but I found it a couple of weeks ago in the clearance section of Half Price Books.
I was mostly a gothy, art school kid, too, but I was trained to always dress for my audience, so my coworkers didn't realize until I returned, or didn't really return, after Christmas break with a shaved head.
"I spent a miserable year, post-college, waitressing at a hokey chain restaurant most known for its gravy, mass-produced "vintage" decor, and "quaint" gift shop (licorice, pancake mix, plushy farm-animal toys: that sort of thing)."
I feel you. I was at a funeral recently and one of the directors called to see if the anything besides the veggie tray was gluten free. He reported that the chicken salad in cucumber cups was gluten free, but the chicken skewers had soy in them. Ummm... soy doesn't have gluten, but soy sauce is often made with wheat.…
Since I'm in Dallas, TX, I looked to see where the restaurant was. It appears to be in the less famous Dallas, North Carolina.
People are horrible.
People are so bad at the library. When I worked at the library, we had a book put into the drop soaking wet. We put it in a zip lock because eventually people come back and tell you, "I didn't do that. It was like that when I got it."
I think I will be asking for that just by wearing it out of the house.
Looking through pictures on google now, it appears that they aren't even pinned anymore. They hang around the neck.
Thank you! I've been wanting this for a long time.
I think it's weird that she wanted a picture of someone's baby who she didn't know, but at least she asked. Some people would have felt entitled enough to just take the shot.
I'm sorry you and your fiance are going through this.
Don't feel bad; you aren't the first to have that reaction.
