Yes, I am aware of the forces at play. A 5500 isn’t meant for daily driving. It’s everything on a 3500 turned to 11. Hell, even the front end is completely different.

Well, as an owner of a Ram 5500, this is sad. Get in an accident, break the front end suspension.

Last time I looked under my 5500, I swore the tie rod ends were an inch thick. I guess it can take the abuse of towing all day every day, get in an accident and lose the ability to steer.
