"any Adobe program."
"any Adobe program."
Er... You can close an Android app. If you go to Settings, you can close any app you wish.
I'm not sure what you're on about. My Droid X has 512MB of RAM and it's never slow. The only real time I notice slowdowns is if I'm using the stock ROM, but come on, Blur is a bloat POS. Android itself manages RAM perfectly without task killers.
Radioshack is a great example. They had some really good deals, especially on microSD cards.
You go that relaxing Black Friday experience because all the lines and mayhem was at midnight.
They've canceled Flash for mobile platforms though. ICS will be the last.
I think it's your connection. I have a slow upload speed, but I still upload faster than that. Unless you pay for it, most connections have a slow upload speed. For example, I get 70 Kilobits per second on my connection. That's almost 10 kilobytes per second. I don't mind though because I still get 10 Megabits per…
Well, Oracle still supports it. It's the thing where they were trying to take control from the community, the community bailed and made LibreOffice, then they tried to give it back, but no one wanted it. LibreOffice is the standard now.
Why are you telling me this? That's what I've been saying.
HTML5 isn't as big of a security concern right now.
I think Flash should die, but that is misleading. as m1ndtr1p said, there is a build of Flash for ICS being developed. I don't recall if it's Adobe or Google making it, but ICS will have Flash.
It depends on the person. If you have had them on Firefox or Chrome already, it's nothing really different. I put my non-techie sister on Ubuntu 10.04 and she didn't have any problems.
This ROM is completely different than any other custom ROM out there. It's got its own UI. It's got different settings, notifications, etc. I'd try it if I were you. It's pretty good. It's based on CM7.
According to Amazon, the Kindle Fire Silk Browser is slow right now because it's still gathering info from people using it. Time will tell though if it gets faster after caching pages.
I agree with this pick. I love Virtualbox. I find it funny that the first image has Fedora 10 in a VM.
Maybe because we users like how the phone looks? I use my Droid X without a case. I hate cases. I take care of my devices, so I don't see the point in that extra layer of protection that costs $30-50 more. I never use cases on my devices.
This is pretty badass because it uses Python, but I don't see a use for it. There's a rain delay switch on our sprinkler, so we just use that.
W3Schools is the worst place to learn programming. They aren't always accurate. They don't even claim that what they have is accurate.
I didn't mention Openbox in the whole "I want a desktop" debate. Let's leave it at that.
You're not understanding me. What I'm saying is I miss the desktop in xmonad; I'm not talking about Openbox at all with the desktop part. I'm saying I didn't say Openbox when talking about favorite DEs/WMs because LXDE uses Openbox, so it's implied.
