LXDE uses Openbox, so I didn't think about mentioning it. I meant compared to xmonad. Openbox by itself isn't a DE like LXDE; it's a WM.

That's a whole different scenario then. What you were implying was that the only problem was the software buttons. And how can TouchWiz be better than ICS? It's fine if that's what you like, but I don't think they compare at all. At its heart, TouchWiz is still Gingerbread.
I don't know why, but LXDE has become my favorite DE. It's great too because it makes my desktop's weird setup (you probably know) more tolerable since it's lightweight. I really liked xmonad/ratpoison as WMs, but I couldn't get used to it. I like having a desktop.
Or the ones making the ROM can disable the software buttons?
cvsp has started on ICS for the Droid X. I'm so excited because of the locked boot loader. If he gets it working, he's a genius. He's the one that brought CM7 to the DX.
You, sir, deserve a medal.
This is just another example of why DRM is bad, mainly in gaming. DRM is supposed to prevent piracy, but pirates just get around it. It's just a nuisance for legitimate users.
I'm not depressed, but I still don't socialize. I just have a Facebook I don't really use. There's nothing on it besides my name, so I'm not too worried.
What does turning 3G have to do with Wifi? I think timgray is saying without data, the phone's battery will last a lot longer.
This is for desktops though.
I really like Comix. Usually, there's something that's on par if not better for Windows as well, but I've found nothing can compare to Comix. I actually reboot to use a Linux application.
I'm talking about an app that replaces the Messaging app or whatever your manufacturer chose to call it. Their alternatives were free messaging. I'm referring to Go SMS Pro, Handcent, etc.
If you like video games, I'm sure you'll be playing Skyrim this weekend. That's what most people I know are doing. I can't run Skyrim, so I'm playing Oblivion instead. Yeah, games are fun.
Terminator fits my needs better though because you can have multiple terminals in one window. That's what I love to use it in combination with xmonad or ratpoison.
If you restart Steam, you should get this notice. The notice went out yesterday.
I agree with this. I usually just use the default GNOME Terminal or Konsole with GNOME or KDE, but when I have other DEs/WMs, I use Terminator. I really like it. I first heard of it through Crunchbang because that's the stock for #!.
My netbook doesn't have this. I have to type to find out if Caps Lock is on.
Are you going to do an App Directory entry for apps that do SMS and not just allow free messaging? There are some on the Market that a lot prefer over the SMS app that comes with their phone (which sometimes varies depending on the manufacturer).
Flash just needs to die in general. Hopefully a new standard can come up and take out Flash. Also, Air needs to also. Adobe stopped supporting Linux with Air, so I have no use for it anyway.
You know there's a minimal HTML version that you can click when it's loading the page. It should work better.
