This. I’m an insurance transcriptionist, and a standard question is, “Were you using your vehicle for ride sharing purposes, such as Uber or Lyft?” I don’t imagine “delivery for Walmart” is that far off from ride sharing or any other purpose that isn’t purely personal.

I just did a trip over Memorial weekend for a funeral, flew out of Dulles into LAX and then back again.

*smiles and nods*

I have nothing to add other than I am incredibly sorry for your loss, and to thank you for sharing your story. Stories of later term abortions are very hard to come by*, I think, mostly because of the stigma that surrounds them which should not be there.

You said?

I have some weird, rare neurological disorder that makes my vocal cords slam shut, vibrate uncontrollably, and basically make me sound like I’m intentionally either frying the fuck out of my words or choking on them.

I may or may not have been the creator of several drunken Facebook posts, so I can see where his “passed out in the middle” Tweet came from.

And the argument of “...but, it’s not always used as birth control” goes right over some people’s heads.

Or how in many cases (four i can think of among my friend group) to whom the birth control’s primary purpose isn’t exactly birth control, but to control out-of-control periods or PCOS. (lots of “control” in there, hmmm)

Why should birth control not be convenient? That literally makes no sense to me.

Better yet, try being a salaried employee who literally gets pay docked if he hasn’t accrued enough PTO. Any company the husband has ever worked at has allowed him to go “negative” in PTO for vacations and such; not this one. You don’t have enough PTO to cover that day off you need because your wife is sick and so

No shit. I get absolutely furious when MisterDisco tells me about the latest Roger RamJet who comes into the office deathly ill, hanging on to door frames because they’re so under the weather they can barely walk.

People who talk shit to you for being skinny are assholes, just like people who talk shit to people for being fat. Negging is fucked up and stupid, and preys on people’s self esteem.

Also, I’m flying cross-country tomorrow, so this was not a story I wanted to read. I’d had my fair share of shit from TSA (I’m busty, so you can imagine). Hopefully it all goes uneventfully.

Well, why wouldn’t he shit talk her? I mean, after all, the only thing women are out in public for is for random men to comment on our appearance. That’s why we wear makeup, dresses, and high heels. To look good for dudes, you know. /s

Christ, even the SF-85P was a fucking monster, I can’t imagine how more involved the SF-86 is. And no way would some mystery FBI agent direct him to skip shit. They want it ALL out there.

They’re not. They’re delighted that you, me, and most rational Americans are appalled and frightened at what’s going on in our country. If they can’t elevate their own personal status, they’re than happy to watch others suffer.

The husband keeping his job that he was hired on for was contingent on him passing his PT clearance. Had something popped that he lied about? The agent would have relieved him of his badge right there in the god damned office. How is this even possible at higher levels with even greater security risks?

I’m so sorry about our shitty, rainy weather. It’s supposed to clear up by the weekend. Enjoy your stay, we’re not all assholes! /waves/

After dealing with the shit show that a PT clearance involved, I can only imagine what the next level (Secret) is going to entail. I’m not looking forward to it.
