How so? It’s getting dozens of new games every month, yeah there are less exclusives than usual but it’s far from “ have been taking a break” really, the only thing that we need to catch a break of is Sony’s stupid decisions regarding the VITA and lack of first party games.

Yep. I was always confused with Counter strike and the fact that for some reason they had left handed guns while the person holding it was right handed. Max Payne 3 set the standards for gun aesthetics in my opinon. You actually saw the action working and shell’s ejecting.

Pretty sure every metal gear game has had technology way ahead of it’s time. It’s a recurring theme that the military always has better tech than what’s available to the public, or even publicly known.

I’ve heard the hinge work is AMAZING! Smooth 60 fps and great draw distance. Don’t even get me started the in-game knob engine effects.

I understand the prevalence of indies in the PS4 lineup, because there haven’t been a lot of AAA games around long enough to be given away. Might be time for launch titles like Killzone to get the PS+ treatment, though.

Loved PS+ before the PS4 came out. Great games almost every month on PS3. Now we get mostly games that have already appeared on other platforms or dist. services. And indies. Lots of indies. I might not re-up after this year.

You should check out E is for Extinction, I think it really sticks to the spirit of Morrison’s run.

Also helps that, for the first time in decades, someone was embracing the idea of mutants as an ethnic minority with its own developing culture and beliefs in the shadow of human-dominant society and discrimination.

Amazing timing on this article. I finished the Morrison run last night on Marvel Unlimited. After spending a few weeks trying to find an earlier good starting point on X-Men, this was the one which really worked. Believable characters, epic stories, unique ideas. The run deserves all the praise it gets.
