I don't see these replacing scooters and mopeds in Asia. A lot of the point is that the bikes are small and can be parked virtually anywhere. This is probably half again as long and three times the width. If you replaced all the bikes with these there just wouldn't be any space left. I like what they're trying to do

Perfect example for why all phone chargers have to be USB plugs in Europe. Wouldn't it be nice if they did the same with all power adapters/chargers?

Dreamfall: Chapters (yes, it was only the first chapter but I loved it)

Well, my laptop was getting a weird problem with "ghost touches". It kept registering something from the back of the screen, making the mouse not work properly and producing a line of white circles across the screen. I suspect something in the screen/machine connection is a bit wonky. Disabling touch seemed to fix the

False pregnancies are very real. Dogs get them all the time, usually after they've been in heat. In mice it can be induced by mating females with vasectomied males.

Bodum travel mug with optional french press lid. Holds 1,5 or 2 normal mugs of coffee, keep it hot for hours (no joke) and comes in a ton of colours. If you don't want the french press, it comes with a normal lid too. I've had my oldest one for four or five years and there's still nothing wrong with it besides some

I was really enjoying the feeling that since Zoe doesn't remember anything but I do, and I control her choices within set limits, I'm kind of acting like her subconscious. I wonder how that's going to play out.

I know people probably know. Which makes it doubly interesting (horrifying?) that it's still being accepted, even though it's blatant exploitation by the restaurant industry. It also keeps the menu prices artificially low, since they can pretend that 20% of the price is "gratuity".

You forget, tipping wouldn't cease with higher wages and food prices. People would still tip, but it would have to be earned. I pay ridiculous prices compared to the US when I eat out here in Norway and I know the servers are earning ok. But I'll still tip if the food and service if good and I can afford to. Honestly,

Yeah, same as me. I don't feel I should have to give a 20% tip to the surly 18-year-old who wacked my drink onto the table, but I know she won't get paid even remotely fairly unless I do. I'd rather pay 20% more for said drink and then tip her on top of that if she did a good job.

Tipping in the US is just weird and guilt inducing. Especially for a visitor. In most countries you only tip at bars and restaurants, and leaving some coins of change is just fine. Real tipping (usually around 10%) is never expected as standard, but given for good service.

I have to admit that I kinda love Katy Perry. Not her music so much, but just how unashamedly fun and silly and sparkly she is. This stuff is extremely over the top but that's okay because it's not trying to be anything more than extravagant colourful entertainment.

Please don't make me LOL this much before bedtime. I can barely even remember the plot of this show. Actually, did it have a plot? All I remember is Sawyer. And Damon Salvatore hiding out as a beach bum. And fish biscuits. Yum!

The difference would be just like Gattaca. If I remember it correctly there was no law to prevent anyone from holding certain jobs in that movie. It was just assumed that if you didn't have the right engineering you'd be a poor investment and so you weren't given the chance to prove otherwise.

I'm not saying this should never be done, and I'm not saying that people with genetic diseases don't deserve to have biological children. But if it was me I'd probably just try to adopt in stead. I know it's difficult in many countries including my own, but it seems to me to have more benefits than this kind of

Yeah, me too. There was one about ancient discoverers of America that I loved to bits. First time I heard of Phoenicians among other things. And The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is just epic.

That facial expression, and the level of detail is what makes Don Rosa such a great comic artist. Love it!

I think it's bad enough to deal with with some of the idiots where I work. It can give me bad dreams and stress headaches on occasion. And I never deal with personal attacks, and my stupid comments aren't stored in perpetuity for all to see. If I had to deal with that shit from hundreds of people on the public net I

Well, let's hope the kid is in fact enjoying it. And if he's not, let's hope he gets out of it before he turns into Macaulay Culkin or the Olsen twins... Cause that would be really really sad.

I agree it's not nice to take your kid on the promo trail. But in that Graham Norton clip they both just looked really jet lagged and tired, and Will was keeping it up better. And the dancing/rapping looked like fun and it wouldn't have worked if he was just pretending.
