Oh Neil, you made me cry. Again.

Hod...? Hooodoooor!

I don't mind moths. Just keep the maggots off me!

AAAARRRGH! The thumbnail (ha!) for the suggested video after this one has probably just ruined my weekend.

Arrogance... Yeah maybe. It's a kind of arrogance to think that when you go to meet your makers they will be what you want them to be and give up all their secrets just because you demand it.

I believe it's called having different tastes.

Something I got from the movie was more along the lines of "if you ask these deep, important questions, be prepared that the answers might not be what you were expecting". Can't wait to see the discussion about this on this site.

Maybe they tried it out but couldn't make it look good... Extravagant costumes are cool, but not if they take your attention away from the story being told.

There were plenty Targaryens without the colouring. When they intermarried with the Martells quite a few of the children and grandchildren were dark haired.

There are lots of stories floating around about Jon's mother. Remember Beric's squire (Edric? Dayne) was absolutely sure that she was a servant at Starfall. It made his Jon's milk brother because the same woman was his wetnurse. Other people think it was Ashara Dayne who Ned definitely had a thing with. And then

Agree. Ice and Fire are Jon and Dany and/or Others and dragons. Could probably be read a thousand other ways too though.

If Young Griff is real he he has the better claim though. And he's already building support so it only really matters that people BELIEVE he is real.

That is logical but I'm extremely wary about trusting prophecy in this series. They only seem to come true if nobody f**ks up, and somebody ALWAYS f**k up either by preventing the events or just misunderstanding. GRRM's prophecies are more like weather forecasts than true foretellings.

Correction: This is the popular fan theory, not a spoiler as such. And if you're gonna do spoiler warning, it might be an idea to make it hard to read by accident. Ie not in the first sentence directly under the heading. Not that I mind but somebody might. ;)

Rest in peace mr Bradbury.

That's right. The black and red is the largest and is named Drogon after Khal Drogo. The green and bronze is the middle and is named Rhaegal after Dany's brother, Crown Prince Rhaegar who Robert killed at the Battle of the Trident. The white and gold is the smallest and is named Viserion after Viserys.

There was definitely a huge wish fulfillment element there. But she never wanted to burn King's Landing though. She wants to be a good queen. Unless burning the Red Keep is part of freeing Westeros from the Lannister tyranny I don't see how it would fit. And why did she see the Wall? Way somebody (not necessarily the

You're right. I would have LOVED to see the full version of the House of the Undying on tv though. But I guess it was never to be. They'd have had to cast Rhaegar, and nobody could ever be that angelic and still a badass.

Ya know, nobody is every really one hundred ten percent straight or gay... *wink wink*

The Others (I can't make myself think of them as White Walkers) look pretty amazing. Not at all how I pictured them, but very very good all the same. The wights reminded me too much of The Walking Dead, but I guess that's inevitable...
